OCEANFRONT COTTAGE WITH SPECTACULAR SUNRISES - 4 BR

We had a delightful stay. The cottage is quaint, clean and the decor is so charming. I can't remember when I have felt more relaxed. We loved beach walks, reading on the porch, naps on the hammock and sleeping with the windows open to catch the ocean breezes. To echo another reviewer- we felt very connected to nature here. Our family rented this house for the weekend of the Cooper River Bridge Run. Normally, we stay on the Isle of Palms, but decided to go abit farther south this trip. This cottage is exactly as it is represented. We DID NOT WANT TO LEAVE. It reminded me so much of a family home we had that was lost to one of SC's infamous hurricanes ! It is old, but very well maintained. If you are looking for fancy, this isn't it. This lovely place is quaint, convenient, and most of all charming. We were abit worried about only having one bathroom, but it's location in the house, works perfectly. Open the windows and doors, and you have a constant breeze. It's comfortable, geared towards family, and equipped just perfectly. It's also pet friendly, which really made things alot easier for us with an older dog that goes where we go. The porch overlooking the dunes and the ocean has a hammock that we all fought over - Several naps and a few overnighters were spent out there, swinging !!! If you want a laid back, casual cottage that's perfect for a weekend or a week at the beach, this is it !!!! We will definitely be back !

My wife and I came for a week and loved our stay so much we stayed for another. This is the perfect home right on the beach with a wonderful screened in porch. We loved the laid back feel of this charming old house. It is far enough away from central Folly to secluded but not so far that you can't take a nice walk down the beach to get there. We will be back soon.
