The house sleeps 6 comfortably with all your linens. 2 BA /showers, oil heat, washer and dryer, dishwasher. Microwave, gas range, Direct TV, VCR and a DVD player. Sit on the porch and enjoy the Maine woods. Sit on the deck and enjoy a Maine harbor.

Amenities:: The house is fully equipped with washer and dryer to dishwasher to all linens. The kitchen has everything that you would need, even to make a lobster or steam clam dinner, or just sit back and enjoy a glass of wine. The house has two Queen beds, one double bed and 2 twin beds. All new sheets and pillows and comforters. Every bedroom plus living room has ceiling fans with lights. It has two larger bathrooms with showers only.

The living room has overhead fan with cathedral ceiling looking out to ocean and a very large deck with gas grill. The dinning room sits 8 and there is a breakfast bar which seats 3. Almost every window in the house you can see spectacular views of open water and islands, lobster boats and much more! Activities:There is kayaking right from our shore, there is swimming, hiking golf and museums. There is a lot to do if you choose, or sit back and relax with a great book! Hike Mt Batte or the Camden hills Golf nearby in Rockland and at the Samoset Resort in Rockport. Farnsworth art Museum and Wyeth Center, and other cultural attraction. Arcadia National Park is about and hour and half away.

Here are some other interesting things going on! Thomaston 4th of July Celebration North Atlantic Blues Festival Friendship Sloop Days Maine Lobster Festival, this is one of the biggest Festival Maine has Maine Boat & Harbor Show Union Fair Many other Festivals and Fairs Lots of antiques stores, boat trips and Harbor cruises in Rockland and Camden. Take a day trip to Canada on the CAT from Bar Harbor. Take a day trip on a Windjammer out of Camden or Rockland. Day cruise to see Seals, puffins and many Lighthouse. Go out to Vinelhaven North Haven or Monhegan Island just to name a few. Take a walk out to Rockland Breakwater, Marshall Point lighthouse and Museum and Owls head Light house and Beaches.

Golf: Transportation Museum, Owls head Many fresh water lakes for swimming.

Eight wonderful summers

My family and I have rented this property for the past eight years. We started at one week and were soon up to two and now three weeks. We recently signed-up for three weeks in 2009.

The property is maintained in excellent condition , is always clean and the owners caring about the satisfaction of their renters.

The house is located on one of the most senic harbors in Maine and provides an overview of a lobster fishing villiage.
My family fell in love with this property the first time they saw it.

The house has many amenities and is well equiped. It is spacious and accomodative to a large family.

The area is mid-coast Maine and very beautiful. A short distance away is Rockland with its resturants and museum. Port Clyde, a classic Maine fishing/working port is close and has ferry service to Monhegan Island.

There are three generations in our family and all always can find someting of interest to do including several beaches for the young ones.

As you can tell, we recommend the property highly.

This home is absolutely beautiful. The location was very quiet and private. We were able to easily alternate between relaxing in the home and getting out to enjoy the surrounding areas. The rental process was easy and questions were addressed quickly.

What an AMAZING place!

I have rented this gorgeous house for many years now and love it every time I go there. The view is breathtaking and is visible from virtually every room in the house. The house itself is just do beautiful, plenty of room, incredibly well kept, and everything you could possibly need is provided (included in the cost!). The owners are so kind and easy to work with. They make renting this place such a joy. There is so much to do near by, but my favorite is just staying around the house, hiking, kyacking, swimming. It is an amazing vacation spot & home.
