Upper home of a 2 unit property (both homes are available for rent on VRBO; see listing #305149). No residence in Avalon can rival this property that affords 180-degree panoramic views of the harbor, city, and canyons from almost every room, yet is only a minute’s walk to the water’s edge. Maintaining the privacy of a Tuscany hilltop home, each bedroom is tastefully appointed and furnished to sleep 6. One bedroom has a king bed with harbor and canyon views. The second bedroom is large (20' x 20') and has a queen bed and two single beds. Both bedrooms have adjoining new bathrooms and dressing rooms, and are each equipped with a television. The sofa in the living room has a new queen size pullout bed.

There is a large kitchen with an ample island for eating and visiting with seating for 8. French doors lead from the kitchen and open onto the 1000 square foot deck which overlooks the city, harbor and Pacific Ocean. The deck is complete with plush outdoor furniture, a gas barbeque, and spectacular views. Gas appliances, new bathrooms, hardwood floors, flat screen TV’s, a stereo system, and walkways with Catalina tiles will make your stay in Catalina the most memorable vacation you could ever have! (It's absolutely worth every one of the 71 steps up to the property!)

AVAILABLE ON REQUEST: It is possible to reserve mooring #1 or side tie to owner's boat for Harbor Fee. 30 ft. mooring.

Family owned property. Summer vacations were spent in Avalon. Our children could run back and forth from our house to the beach and to mainstreet in a matter of minutes. They had so much fun!

Description of the property is very accurate. We loved the view and the wrap around deck. From the inside of the condo, the view was just the same with all the beautiful windows. Property came with all amenties and everything you need to make your stay enjoyable. Would highly recommend this property. Checkin was smooth. Excellent location. Be prepared to walk up 95 stairs to the condo but the view is worth it. Dined at the Lobster Trap, Steve's Steakhouse. We never were disappointed with the restaurants and shopping in this beautiful little town.

A Wonderful Time

What a beautiful home in a fantastic location! Before we arrived I was somewhat concerned about the number of steps from the street to the home, but that turned out to be no problem and, in fact, the climb was an adventure to be enjoyed by all. The home is located close to downtown Avalon, but far enough above it that the sounds from the town were not noticeable. The home was clean, nicely appointed, and fully stocked with all the supplies we needed (excluding food, of course). The best part, however, is the view, both in the daytime and at night. We would sit at the big table in the kitchen in the morning and watch the sun hit the side of the casino as well as the boats in the harbor. We cannot wait to return to this house again, but next time during the Summer when we can enjoy the large deck even more. Thank you for a great experience in a beautiful location.

Five of us girls spend a couple of nights here last September. It was fantastic! It is amazing how close it actually is to town...it's really 3 blocks or less but because you are so high on the hillside, the view is spectacular. The decks are unbelievable! I could just live out there in the comfy lawn furniture. I'm hoping to go back this year. the owners were as nice as can be...we had a little issue with the wifi but they reset it and no problems. This is a fabulous place...highly recommend!
