Secluded, cozy and relaxing

Great location; on the marsh with a dry area where our dog loved to run. A real plus that pets are considered (I imagine that the owners, understandably, want discretion). Cozy wooden interior and plenty of room. The owner, Kate, was very helpful and accommodating but a little patience is required for responses as she is very busy. The description on vrbo was accurate despite the dearth of photos (only 1 which does not do the house justice). The back wall is entirely large windows w/ a beautiful view of the marsh. A deck off that back wall would be a definite improvement--we missed not having that. Also, a new grill is needed. The house and grounds were well maintained. The location, in South Wellfleet, is excellent. As long time Cape vacationers, we love that part of the Cape and deliberately chose this location for its accessibility to the Cape Cod Institute as well as to the entire outer Cape including Ptown. Close restaurants we liked: The Juice and Wicked Oyster near Wellfleet Ctr. Best clam chowder: PJ's. Best lobster roll: Arnold's. Close to bike trails and rental locations and to the Wellfleet drive in where a great flea market is held several days each week (outstanding plain t shirt selection). We would recommend the house and would be more enthusiastic in doing so if a deck was added in the back.
