Excellent Time At Bugaboo Lodge!

The Bugaboo is a wonderfully located house. It is near everything one could possibly want to do at Crystal Mountain. The house is very nicely decorated - a real cabin type of feel; the main level has cathedral ceilings. The owner/managment sent us a packet with instructions, things to do in the area, locations of grocery stores, restaurants, etc. If we had a question, it was answered and the manager was very efficient and friendly. Everything was nice and clean - and we really liked having a washer/dryer available. I would dry the wet snow-gloves and hats every evening. The kitchen has everything one would need. The only thing perhaps lacking was a bit more lighting in some of the bedrooms. Also, the downstairs room with the two futons was a bit cold, but we found plenty of extra blankets in the laundry room. All the other rooms were just fine temperature wise. We loved the main level living room/dining area/kitchen. It was warm and cozy and perfect for relaxing. The sofas were extremely comfortable and the dining table the perfect size (we were 8 adults).
The entrance hall before you get into the house proper is also great - there is a cement floor with long benches and plenty of hooks - so getting in and out of snow gear is easy and you can immediately store your gear.
Everyone who went had a great time - we enjoyed cross country skiing, snow shoeing, hiking, a surrey ride and ice skating. The time went by too fast!
We would recommend this rental,and hope to rent here again ourselves.
