The 2 week minimum stay is required per the Atrium condominium association by-laws.
The Atrium - a luxury 24-unit single building complex on the Gulf of Mexico - has a lovely courtyard, covered driveway building entrance, and manicured grounds that accompany the private drive, private beach access, heated pool, and tennis court.
Our relaxing beach themed unit has many amenities, including ceiling fans, master bedroom walk in closet, vanity sink inside & outside the master bath, and window shutters. Windows from bedrooms and side of the lanai have views toward the pool and the Gulf of Mexico -- and not a view into a nearby rental unit. Our unit in the Atrium offers a relaxing atmosphere, open views, and a peaceful quiet retreat that many island properties cannot offer.
The living room and master bedroom open onto the glass & screen encompassed all weather lanai (porch). Our lanai is 'L' shaped, where the short side faces the pool, long side faces directly toward the Gulf of Mexico. Relax in the evening there, while warm breezes waft in off of the Gulf of Mexico laden with a wild salty character. The surf on Sanibel’s beaches are usually gentle and calming ~ it is simply wonderful to completely unwind listening to the waves.
We have everything in our condo to make your stay enjoyable. We have a secure WiFi in the unit (logon credentials posted in our condo). The Living Room has a 1080p HDTV with Blu-Ray disc player (also plays DVDs) on a wall mount that can positioned so you may watch TV from the kitchen or dining areas. The Den has movies, games, and puzzles. We also have toys and towels for the Beach. The Full Kitchen has microwave, toaster, blender, juicer, mixer, coffee pot, small food processor, large stock pot for those seafood feasts, & more. Master bedroom closet has a sewing machine & sewing supplies. Full sized washer, dryer, hair dryers, plus iron & ironing board means you can pack light!
Driving on the causeway en route to Sanibel Island, brown pelicans can be seen flying in formation, diving for dinner, floating on water, or just perching on a pier. Wildlife on Sanibel is cherished and valued by residents and visitors alike. Traffic will stop for land tortoises (or other local wildlife) to cross the road. Bicycle rentals are available nearby, and are a wonderful way to explore the island on the miles of paved bike paths.

Our family first fell in love with Sanibel Island in the 1970s, and soon realized the dream of owning a beachfront rental condominium there. We still return to enjoy its beauty year after year.
What makes this condo unique
We simply love our beachfront view with daily sunsets and the view of the building's pool, where we enjoy watching the next generation of mermaids splashing in the water. We annually visit the Ding Darling Wildlife Refuge, where Sanibel's abundant wildlife locals loves to show off. The Atrium is a wonderful place to stay, with open view to the Gulf of Mexico and a relaxing atmosphere of solitude.
