This place is amazing. Less than fifteen minutes from anything you'd want to do in and around Hollywood, everything you could need besides food and clothes is provided for you by the awesome owner, and just such a lovely place to stay. The farthest thing from a hotel room there is. Well decorated, spacious, full kitchen, fantastic bath, and best of all; AFFORDABLE! The owner Chuck is a great guy who was nothing but wonderful to us. Gave us great ideas (like going to catalina island, thanks again, man!), helped us print tickets for universal studios so we wouldn't have to run to a staples first thing in the morning, was always easy to contact when we needed him, and a general pleasure to just be around. Private parking, free wifi, cable, clean everything (dishes, cookware, bathroom, bedding, towels, seriously everything!), well lit and ventilated by tons of ceiling fans, and a side garden that's probably bigger than that hotel you're looking at in your other browser window. The "Treasure Island" sign sits proudly in front of the koi pond, benches, and soon to be added moat that leads off to the patio and seating areas. This was the trip I made my girlfriend into my fiance, my good friend into my best friend, and had the best week of my life. This was the home base for that trip. If Chuck would let me, I'd buy this place. You can stop looking now, if the dates are available, you just found the place you want to spend your vacation in the greater Los Angeles area.
