Rustic and Romantic getaway-2 BR 2 BA Riverfront Cabin

This charming and rustic cabin overlooks the beautiful Suwannee River in North Florida. Magnificent views, secluded, romantic.

Features 2 kayaks and a canoe, wood stove (wood is supplied), outdoor fire pit, hammock and tire swing.

Dock available for boats. Great fishing and bird watching.

Perfect for honeymooners. kayakers, snorkelers, nature lovers.

Just 15 minutes from the Ichetucknee State Park entrance for tubing. Many other springs nearby.

A-frame shape, with vaulted wood ceilings, wood floors, a large deck with picnic table and grill, and tremendous views of the river.

Things to do:: Cabin includes the use of two kayaks, 1 canoe, plus pads, paddles and life jackets

Bring your boat and tie up to the dock. Nearest boat launch is 5 river miles away.

Tubing down the nearby Ichetucknee River - 15 minutes away

Swimming and fishing right off the bank of the Suwannee River

Snorkeling in nearby Ginnie Springs, Hart Springs, Little River Springs or Troy Springs

Bird watching- Many fascinating and exotic Florida water birds and birds of prey.

Suwannee River Cabin was awesome

My wife and I spent 3 incredible days/nights at the Suwannee River Cabin in late April/early May celebrating our anniversary.

The cabin was perfect - very remote, directly on the Suwannee River - with Kayak and Canoes provided. The description and pictures on the website were 100% accurate. The property was clean, well maintained, and the owners were very responsive to our questions prior to arrival and the driving directions were perfect.

Our days and nights went like this: coffee on the deck with the river views, Mountain Biking at San Felasco Hammock Preserve State Park, hiking and tubing in the Ichetucknee Springs State Park, reading, watching movies, and BBQ's at night!

I absolutely loved the cabin, have already recommended it to some friends, and will plan on a return visit at some point next year.

The only bad part was leaving. Thanks for a great vacation!

Perfect weekend getaway!

This is the second time my friends and I have stayed at the Suwannee River Cabin and we plan to come back again. The house is well equipped, designed and decorated and feels perfectly comfortable and charming! I've slept on pretty much all sleeping surfaces at this point (the futon in the living room, the loft, and in the closed bedroom) and all are comfortable, relaxing spaces. The huge windows allow an absolutely glorious view of the natural beauty outside...from the futon and the loft, it's so nice to open your eyes in the morning to immediately see the tree canopy and blue skies. If you prefer to sleep in a dark room with more privacy, choose the downstairs bedroom and you'll still get to enjoy the view when you come out for breakfast! We love lying in the hammock in the backyard overlooking the river, relaxing on the dock or the back porch, or honestly just hanging out in the house if it's hot out. The windows make even lazy, house hanging a beautiful "nature" experience. Highly recommend this cabin to all! We LOVE it.

Perfect Quiet Retreat!!

Our stay at the cabin was wonderful! We were able to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. We took the canoe out to explore the river, it was so simple to take out and bring back in. The river is breathtaking! And the view from the upstairs bedroom is lovely to wake up to! We loved driving over to High Springs and spending the day antiquing and getting fudge at The Coffee Clutch:) There is plenty to do if you want to be adventurous, or the perfect place to relax if you just want to catch your breath. Thank you Robin for being so pleasant! We can't wait to return!

My 3 kids and I absolutely loved your beautiful home on the river. The hammock, tire swing, fires, and outside gas grill made us feel right at home. My favorite was the claw foot tub ; ) The personal touches you have given to the decor were so well thought out and put together too . Thank you so much for the help with tubing. Kids and I had a blast at the Ichetucknee river! We hiked and found absolutely amazing crystal clear springs too! A little piece of heaven we felt so privileged to experience. Thank you again!!

Secluded Cabin Ambiance

Amazing ambiance, and charming serenity in the Suwanee River Cabin. Spent time in nearby Ichetucknee Springs State Park kayaking with wildlife abound. Definitely going to be back for an even longer long weekend stay soon! Robin was very accomodative with arrival and departure times.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
