We've always wanted to stay in a dollhouse like this. Hunter Lodge is clean and superbly decorated. It's just the place to get away from it all but yet it's close enough to enjoy all the local attractions. The only negative to this cozy cabin is that we just didn't stay long enough. We're planning another visit soon.

My wife and I had the great opportunity to spend three nights at Hunter Hill Lodge in October, 2003 and must say we were simply blown away.

I've visited everywhere from Las Vegas to the Ozark Mountains of Northwest Arkansas to Gatlinburg, TN. and never stayed in a place that felt more like "home" than Hunter Hill. After three days, Julie and I were ready to move in...not to leave.

The in-house accomodations will spoil you. The intimacy of the spaces and the playful warmth of the decor gives you the uncanny sense that the spirit of the surrounding woods have been pulled inside with you.

So whether you're a couple seeking a romantic weekend, as we were, or a family of five, do yourself a favor and spend some time there. I can't recommend it highly enough.
