Ski-in / Ski-out Condo - Completely Updated and Fully Furnished - Located at the

My parents, my husband and I, and our 2-year-old stayed for a long weekend in this condo, and we couldn't have asked for a better, cleaner, more comfortable property. The value is unbeatable. The views were spectacular, the resort amenities were plentiful, the staff helpful, and the property just as we expected - very clean and quiet. The bedrooms were spacious, the kitchen was well-equipped, and the layout was perfect for our toddler. There wasn't anything he could break easily or fall on, and there was enough room for him to use his riding toys. The placement of the bathrooms and closets allowed us to easily sneak in and out of the bedroom while he slept without distrubing him, and the pool was within easy walking distance. We had some trouble on Saturday night with disorderly intoxicated neighbors, but the Shanty Creek staff handled the situation promptly, and the owner showed care and concern. Overall, the owner did a spectacular job answering all of our questions, and the staff was available once we arrived to direct us to anything we wanted to see. We enjoyed the Sunday brunch and later dessert at the Lakeside restaurant - their flourless choclate cake is a MUST - spent a day touring wineries, a day at Sleeping Bear Dunes, and plenty of time relaxing and enjoying the view. We are already planning our next getaway! We are so grateful to have had this opportunity to enjoy such an easy vacation. A perfect place for families with little ones.

Had a great weekend. The condo is very clean and spacious, would sleep 8 very comfortably, and has everything you would need for a great trip. Ski in ski out access is wonderful. The Summitt ski runs get overshadowed by Schuss, but there is plenty there to keep you entertained. The lift lines are extremely short or non-existent, so you can ski down and hop right back on the lift. And for $10, skiing Summit is the best deal in the state, if not the U.S. We skied Summit Friday night, but be aware that Summit opens at 4:30 Friday, and 9:30 Saturday and Sunday. Friday night skiing at Summit was a great warm up to spending all day at Schuss Saturday. Kitchen has newer appliances, and all you'd need to make meals at the condo. The only drawback is that the condos above must have relatively thin flooring, because we could tell when the kids were running around. It wasn't a big deal, but the "pounding" of feet is noticeable. We, just like the family above us, was usually exhausted and everyone was in bed before 11pm, so it wasn't an issue. Overall, a very good place to call home for a weekend ski trip.

Everything we could possibly need was included. (laundry soap,washer/dryer, coffee, pots and pans, cable, internet) It was like staying at home. Clean and cozy! Thanks for a nice week! We will be back.
