You are central to the Denver metropolitan area: a short 1.5 to 2 mile walk away from downtown, or jump on the light rail 7 blocks away to go downtown or anywhere else on the light rail route. The University of Denver is also within walking distance (approximately 12-14 blocks to the south). While convenient to everything downtown Denver has to offer, you can retreat to a quiet getaway in the beautiful tree-lined streets of your surroundings, or walk to Washington Park five blocks away for a quick run or walk around the park.
You are also an hour away from the beautiful Rocky Mountains, with national parks and ski areas nearby. There is something here for everybody!

I purchased my townhome because I love the Washington park area. Like the neighborhood, this townhome condominium combines modern and historic details, is warm, inviting, and a city home that provides a convenient location within the beauty of mature, tree-lined streets, and nearby Washington park. The area attracts great neighbors and a lot of activities, restaurants, unique shops, and a healthy, active lifestyle!
What makes this townhome unique
I have a lot of varied interests, and this neighborhood fills them all. Close to everything, many unique shops and restaurants within walking distance. 10 minutes to downtown by light rail or drive (the light rail is 7 blocks away), or you are within 45 minutes to an hour from the mountains, or two hours to most ski areas. The University of Denver is conveniently 12 blocks away, and five blocks to the east is Washington Park -- one of Denver's most beautiful and popular city parks. Wash Park contains two lakes, possesses walking and jogging trails/paths, tennis, and more. The Washington Park neighborhood is also safe, convenient, quiet, and very dog-friendly; everyone walks their dog at the park, or along the streets. The neighborhood residents are varied, mostly single, families, and retired persons. The Pearl street shops near the University of Denver is also a short walk away, with many restaurants and other unique businesses. Grocery stores are also within walking distance, including Whole Foods, so a car is never necessary. All in all, this townhome is like having a downtown loft, close to all the conveniences, and yet provides a retreat to a quiet, tree-lined neighborhood sanctuary when you are done -- it is the best of both worlds.
