Enjoy this quaint 2 bedroom stilt-home located on a canal with direct access to the Gulf. You can be in the Gulf of Mexico in less than 7 minutes. There is a 12 foot floating dock that can be used for docking your boat or just enjoying a leisure sunbath. From the balcony you can watch the local fishermen head out to sea and get their daily catch! Boat rentals and public charters are just minutes down the road.

Local beaches include Pine Island and Rogers Park. Weeki Wachee Water Park is also close by. You can take in the live mermaid show or rent a kayak and travel down the spring fed river with the manatees. There is also plenty of dining and entertainment for all ages within a few miles. If your looking for a round of golf, Hernando County offers over a dozen public golf courses.

About The Owner

Here we are doing what we love most... relaxing on the water. Florida is the best place to do this year round. Come down and check out our rental property. You can be on the Gulf in about 7 minutes enjoying the water and sunshine. If you prefer shopping, dining, or golfing we are close to it all.

Why The Owner chose Hernando Beach

We first visited Hernando Beach in 1998 and fell in love with it because of the 'real Florida' feel, vast waterways, and abundant palm trees.

What makes this house unique

We love watching the boats go by and listening to the waves lap the sides of the vessels. With it's beautiful views and large palm trees around the property it gives a great relaxing feeling.

Thanks for allowing us to rent for 3 months- we really enjoyed it. By the way we saw a mama manatee with her baby out in your canal about 3 weeks ago- that was cool. The Howard Flea Market at Hommossa Springs and the Hommossa Wildlife State Park (with their pontoon boat ride down to the wildlife)is a great plus and was close by!

Beautifully furnished and well equipped House on the canal. Owners were very responsive to any needs and incredibly accomodating.

We enjoyed our two month stay and would recommend this rental to anyone. We enjoyed watching sunrises, seagulls, pelicans and fishing boats from the screened in back deck. We were within 3 miles of the gulf and 5 miles from a beautiful Beach. A must see/do when here is the manatees in Crystal river and deep sea fishing within walking distance of home. The home was very clean, rooms were good size and vaulted ceilings in every room enhanced the stay
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Pet-friendly, Adventure Seekers, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
