Tree House 1 disappointing

We stayed 2 weeks in TreeHouse 1 (there's an adjoining property called Tree House 2) and wished we'd gone elsewhere for the 2nd week. The deck practically hangs over the road leading to Anse Chastenet Resort and as a result there is a great deal of noise, day and night, of delivery trucks, staff shuttles, rental cars, pick-up trucks, etc. Add to this the road that runs behind the Tree House where construction vehicles, including rolling concrete mixer, were going to a new villa. Then there was the crew building a rock wall behind Tree House 2. Trucks came to deliver rocks and sand and the crew spent the day breaking rocks and constructing the wall.
The view is great, if you discount the power lines, and the birds, geckos, frogs and manicou were entertaining. The kitchen is well equipped and the wifi worked well. We used the mosquito net to keep the bugs from biting while we slept but they found me during the day and I was glad I had some anti-itch lotion along. We didn't use the pool as we much prefer salt water to chlorine. Charmaine was our contact although we seldom saw her. She was unfamiliar with the contract arrangements we had for the airport taxi which made the situation uncomfortable for us.
We may return to St Lucia someday, but it will not be to the TreeHouse.

Owner's Response: It was very unfortunate that there were several construction projects going on during their stay and the road was unusually busy. Fortunately, the wall project is now completed and the new villa will be finished soon. I am very sorry the stay at the Treehouse I did not meet the guest expectations and all efforts will be made to correct these issues.
