Private waterfront house w/ boat dock located in Spicewood, Texas (35 miles Northwest of Austin) on Lake Travis on a Peninsula formed by the meeting of Colorado & Pedernales Rivers as they flow into Lake Travis in the Naumann Point Area. The house has 3 bedrooms & sleeps 8 people (1 king, 1 Queen, 1 trundle, 3 twin beds), 2 Full bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen w/ fridge/freezer, stove/oven, microwave, and dishwasher, central air/heat, washer & dryer, 2 TVs with satellite cable, VCR/DVD, Stereo/CD player w/ indoor & outdoor speakers, a selection of books, games, magazines, CDs, & movies. Lake Travis Getaway is equipped with a boat/swimming/fishing dock just steps away from house. This Large lot had over an acre of beautiful waterfront land. Outdoor covered entertainment area with outdoor bar, fridge/freezer, dartboard, shuffleboard, horseshoes by the water, hammock, and lounge chairs. We provide all Linens, Towels, Paper Products and Dish Detergent.

Wonderful vacation!

We enjoyed our week at Lake Travis Getaway very much! The property was clean, well maintained and we would recommend this property for anyone wanting a relaxing time on the lake. Marsha and Laci are great to work with and we'll be leasing with them again. Even though the property is a little far from Austin there are plenty of restaurants within a 15/20 minute drive. We would recommend Angel's for a casual, fun place to eat....nothing fancy but good food and a colorful "Austin" atmosphere! The drive into Austin is easy and if you go there check to see where the Frank Gomez Band is playing....they are awesome! We'll be back soon.

Good Stay

This would have been great had only the weather cooperated. Too cold to drop the boat in and upon further investigation, the closest boat ramp is out of the way. The property owners should try to strike a deal with neighbors. I know we would have been happy to pay for easy access. Since it was cold, we used the open lower level play/bar area for just a bit. It could use a good cleaning and repair of the recreational items, either that or just don't mention them - the place is great without them. We fished from the dock and brought home three keepers: bass, cat and blue gill, and tossed back several small bass.

As noted, there was a good selection of books and games with one game (kid charades?) being added to Santa's list this year. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed for Thanksgiving. Great place overall !

A Great Time!!

This is a very nice, comfortable home far enough "up river" to avoid all the big weekend crowds near the Mansfield Dam and Lakeway. The property is just as advertised, very clean and even though the square footage seems low, we hade 5 adults in the home and never felt cramped or otherwise uncomfortable. The downstairs outdoor "bar," is a great place to hang out and bbq.

Overall great property, great lake and interfacing with the Laci and Marsha was very pleasant and easy.

We stayed at this house in the summer around two years ago. We have rented several houses on Lake Travis in the past summers, by far this house was the best of all. Easy access to the water, very clean and everything was there as stated. Since the water level is up again, we plan on making another trip this summer(2010) and this is the house we will rent again. Thank You for sharing your home.
