Within about a mile from our condo, accessible by the bike trails is my favorite grocery on the island, Baileys Grocery, a cinema, video rental store, yogurt shop! Our kids love to ride their bikes or roller blade there .
The very well equipped kitchen has all appliances, including dishwasher, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker, blender, juicer, complete matching sets of dishware, glassware and silverware, nice pots and pans, etc. There is a new full size washer and dryer, ironing board and iron, 2 telephones and an answering machine. The master bedroom has a king size bed, Cable TV, VCR, walk in closet and bathroom and has a view of the Gulf and a walk out to the screened lanai. The second bedroom has two twin beds with new mattresses, Cable TV & DVD. The living room has an entertainment center complete with 37' widescreen Cable TV, VCR, DVD, CD stereo, high speed wireless internet access, pull out sofa bed, lots of books, movies, puzzles, and games
The screened lanai has a nice patio set that seats 6 (we love to eat out there!), lounger, pool and beach toys, boogie boards, beach chairs and umbrella. The screened lanai has a great view of the Gulf of Mexico, a small lagoon and overlooks the pool! We also have a Graco Pack and Play and a high chair that you are welcome to use if you have a small child. We cannot allow pets or smoking, please. Our condo is family friendly, yet very up to date and recently renovated. Since we only have 45 units in our complex, our larger than average size pool is nice and never crowded. You can go out to the pool any time of year, any time of day and have no problem finding a lounger to sit at the pool! We have a professional guest services company who will check you in, provide linens, and are there on the island should you have any problems.
Our favorite activities are swimming in the pool and ocean, shelling, building sand castles, shopping and going to delicious and unique restaurants, going canoeing in the mangroves, riding bikes or exercising on the 22 miles of bike trails, going to Captiva, eating lunch at Gramma Dots at the Sanibel Marina, getting coffee at The Bean :) , visiting the shell museum, going through Ding Darling Wildlife Refugee, and fishing!! We also like to lounge and read or sleep on the screened lanai, around the pool or at the beach, and cook fresh fish to eat in :)
Sand Pointe is located on West Gulf Drive, about 1/2 mile from the intersection of Tarpon Bay Road. It is about 1 1/2 miles from Baileys Grocery Store.
