This vacation home has everything you need for a carefree, peaceful retreat or family getaway! Beautifully cozy and private, it's centrally located just 15 minutes from Traverse City on Duck Lake Peninsula, convenient to area golf courses and lakes. This spacious three bedroom home offers shared access to 1900-acre all-sports Duck Lake and sleeps up to ten, with comfortable northwoods furnishings throughout. The Peninsula is a quiet wooded area, surrounded by lake views - great for walking and biking. Use of the neighborhood recreation area is also included, with playground, pavilion/picnic area, tennis court, basketball court, and volleyball. After a busy day, relax on the backyard deck surrounded by large hardwood trees, or build a campfire in the fire pit. Cook up a feast for your group in the fully-equipped kitchen or outdoor grill, or relax by the fireplace while watching your favorite movie or sporting event! WIFI internet service is also provided for your convenience.

This cottage is centrally located in the Traverse City area, allowing your group to make the most of ALL that the area is known for - excellent golfing, scenic lakes, beaches, and sand dunes; vineyards, wine tasting, and autumn color tours; family amusements such as canoeing, kayaking, water parks, and miniature golf; plus excellent dining, shopping, festivals, farm markets, and beautiful rolling countryside. Duck Lake access is located just across the street and at several other locations in the neighborhood, all within walking distance. A free boat launch is located about 1/2 mile away. For those who enjoy fishing, the lake is well known for lake trout, northern pike, and other pan fish.
