Our one bed/one bath condo at the wonderful Papakea resort is in the A building - the best oceanfront building at Papakea. It's up one flight of stairs for added privacy and convenience, it's quite close to the pool and best of all, the ocean is only about 15 feet from the lanai! Enjoy the immediacy of the ocean, watch whales in season and drool over spectacular sunsets each night. For all you Papakea addicts out there who know and love it well(Papakea is a wonderful resort, and as such, has many annual 'repeat offenders'!), our unit is #A-202. There are elevators in every building, but this one is just a quick hop up one flight. Of our other two condos at Papakea one (J-104) is 2BR/2BA and is on the ground floor; C-402 is 2BR/1BA and is on the 4th floor - so the elevators come in handy there! Relax at Papakea - it's an easy walk to a variety of shopping, restaurants, and of course, the miles and miles of Ka'anapali beach.

Additional information about rental rates

  • Rates From $145-225/night, based on season and length of stay.
  • Prices are subject to change until confirmed, so please contact me for a complete quote for your stay. There is an additional $200 fully refundable security deposit.

    Maximum capacity is 4 persons. Rates are for 2 guests; add $10/night per each additional guest up to the maximum.

    Cancellations are subject to a $50 cancellation fee. If you cancel 60 days or more prior to your trip, a full refund minus the fee will be issued. If you cancel all or a portion of your dates inside 60 days, the refund is based on our ability to re-sell your reserved dates.

    A fully refundable cleaning/damage deposit of $200 is required to make a reservation.

Notes: Amenities: Our condo is fully furnished for your comfort! The bedroom has a King bed and the living room has a very comfortable queen size futon couch. The kitchen has a Jenn-Air range/oven with a grill, a microwave, dishwasher, ceiling fans, A/C, toaster, blender, coffee maker, and supplies. There is a W/D with laundry supplies right in the unit. We supply all bed linens, towels, beach towels, an iron and ironing board, 2 hair dryers, CD player, Cable TV and VCR. We have a lending library for our guests (take one, leave one!). Kitchen soaps and bath soaps, shampoos and lotions are all provided. The condo is furnished in fun Hawaiian style and art.

Our condo is one of the few with A/C, plus there's ceiling fans in every room, including the kitchen! The resort itself offers many fun things - two pools, hot tubs, two 18 hole putting greens, tennis courts and organized activities such as water aerobics and beach-side yoga.

The lanai has dining for four, as does the dining area along with a breakfast bar. There is a chaise lounge on the lanai. We have provided beach chairs, a cooler and beach toys to enrich your daily excursions. The kitchen has all the utensils, pots/pans and tools required for cooks and for long-term stays. In fact, the longer you stay, the better your daily rate. I live on Maui, so I can promptly respond to your needs.

Our second stay at the Papakea condo was as terrific as our first. Another enjoyable trip to paradise. We could tell you've done some upgrades to the condo since we were there two years ago--new stove, new washer/dryer, new ceiling fan in the kitchen area, new cushions for the chairs, etc. That all makes the condo even nicer. As last time, the beach towels, coolers, golf putters/balls, etc. are also nice extras that make your condo such a relaxing and easy vacation lodging choice.

And, of course, the view is unbeatable from the lanai of A202! We'd recommend this condo to anybody looking for a quiet condo in a great Maui resort location.

This was our second stay in A-202. The view and location can not be beat. Being in the "A" building, you are away from the majority of people so it feels more secluded. The view is amazing and being on the second floor gives a far better experience of sunsets and whale watching, plus, you do not have people walking past your door as you do on the lower level units. Jan had made some changes since the last stay including a new stove and washer/dryer. The unit was clean upon arrival and plenty of towels/linens were on hand. Jan's communciation was excellent and organized. She even checked in with us mid-stay to see if we needed anything. Overall, renting this unit was a painless process. I would recommend A-202.

Jan Hendrix made our arranging for my son a wedding anniversary stay at her condo so easy and pleasant. The kids had a wonderful time and loved Papakea.
I have stayed there before and would love to return one day.

When we arrived to Papakea 202a it was late at night. We walked into the room, and the sights ands sounds of the ocean took my breath away. The views from our balcony were beautiful. This place was even better than we imagined it to be. The amenities provided were perfect, including the dishwasher, washer and dryer, full kitchen etc. It was one of the best vacations my husband and I have ever taken and was the perfect choice for our 30th wedding anniversary celebration. We spent 12 days there and had the time of our lives!!! Jan's suggestions were very helpful and it was nice to know she was only a phone call away, if needed. Thank you Jan, for a place that we will always remember, and hope to return to soon.

This is our third stay in A-202. The first we got engaged on the Lanai at Sunset. The second we came back for our Honeymoon, and the third was five years to the day of our engagement. This time we brought our 19 month old Son Aidan. It was quite special and the three of us had a wonderful time. You cannot get a better view from your room in Maui,it is perfect to wind down in the evening. I recommend Jan's Hospitality and the wonderful Papakea.
