Featuring ocean & sound views, central heat & air conditioning, in-unit washer & dryer, propane grill, outdoor shower, and high-speed Internet access, our affordable townhome stands ready to comfortably host you during your visit to the beautiful Outer Banks of North Carolina!

Please note that this is not a 'party' house - if you are coming to make a lot of noise and leave a mess, then this is not the rental for you. And we're sorry, but we do not allow high school/college groups.

  • We are required to collect Dare County occupancy tax (5%) & North Carolina state sales tax (6.75%). Our rates with the total 11.75% taxes included are as follows:

    SPRING (March 27, 2013 - April 30, 2013): $821.36 weekly, $117.34 nightly
    PRE (May 1, 2013 - June 4, 2013): $938.70 weekly, $134.10 nightly
    PEAK (June 5, 2013 - September 3, 2013): $1,212.49 weekly, $173.21 nightly
    POST (September 4, 2013 - October 1, 2013): $938.70 weekly, $134.10 nightly
    FALL (October 2, 2013 - November 26, 2013): $821.36 weekly, $117.34 nightly
    OFF (November 27, 2013 - March 25, 2014): $625.80 weekly, $89.40 nightly

    Depending on the season and length of stay, discounted rates may be available for renters with an overnight occupancy of less than four (4) persons.

    No sheets or towels are provided with the rental, but may be available at an additional charge - please inquire if interested.
  • 1 or 2 adult dogs may be permitted with prior approval at an additional charge.

    Minimum Stays: At our discretion and depending upon availability, we may allow stays of less than the posted minimum stay requirement for that season.

    Holiday/Event Weekends: There is a three (3) night minimum stay for Memorial Day weekend, Labor Day weekend, and Thanksgiving weekend. Rates for holiday/event weekends are quoted at time of inquiry and may differ from the listed rate for the season. The rate for Memorial Day weekend and Labor Day weekend is $160/night plus tax.

    Turnover day: At our discretion and depending upon availability, we may allow stays with a turnover day different from the posted turnover day.

    Discounted monthly rates may be available during the POST, FALL, OFF, SPRING, and PRE seasons - please inquire if interested.

Townhouse is approximately 500 yards from Kitty Hawk beach and 150 yards from Kitty Hawk Bay sound access (Windgrass Circle park/Wright Brothers multi-use path). Beach accesses with lifeguards (Memorial Day through Labor Day) are close by on the Beach Road (NC 12) - approximately 3/4 mile north at Kitty Hawk bathhouse access/parking and 3/4 -1.5 miles south at Kill Devil Hills beach accesses/parking areas. No daily housekeeping service is provided. Basic cleaning supplies, vacuum, and broom/dust pan are available in the townhouse.

Nice at the right price

My group of three ladies stayed here two nights in March. We each got our own bedroom and were very comfortable. The weather was not great that week but the owner was willing to work with us, delaying our check-in till things were a little better. I'm sure that wouldn't be possible in a busier season, but it shows consideration on the part of the owner. This is not a palace, but is comfortable and has everything you need for an unbeatable price. The property was showing a little age but was very clean and neat. I would recommend it to a friend, and would try to stay there again if I find myself in the area in the future.

Nothing not to like with this rental! Great views of ocean and sound. Located in quiet neighborhood, with wonderful walkpath on sound steps away. Property very clean, kitchen well equipped.
Matt lives nearby, welcomed us on arrival. Even shovled SNOW off our steps/deck.
We made a trip to Wanchese, finding fresh tuna and local marsh oysters!
This is a perfect rental for a relaxing getaway, highly recommend .
Our dog Tonka enjoyed very much, having his choice of two sofas to relax on!

Nothing not to like about this rental! Located in a quiet neighborhood, with great views, and a walkpath on the sound just steps away. Kitchen very well equipped.
Matt lives close by, meeting us when we arrived. Made a trip to Wanchese, picking up fresh tuna, marsh oysters. Can't wait to enjoy steamed crabs on the deck this fall. Our dog Tonka enjoyed the condo , having two sofas to choose from!

A Quiet New Year's Eve

Talk about short notice! We realized leading up to New Years that we HAD to get out at least for a few days. Owner Matt was able to accommodate us with no fuss and bother. We--grandmother, mom, dad, 1 tween, 1 teen, 1 medium sized dog-- had plenty of room. The floor plan is great and we appreciated 2-1/2 baths. We closed Awful Arthurs for the year (last day open) and wore ourselves out at Jockey's Ridge watching a stunning sunset. Of course we all fell asleep before midnight! Less than a city block away is a lovely little park with a deck over the sound and steps to the water. Adjacent is a concrete path along the water that goes quite a way. Magical at night with the stars so close and a great place to walk the dog. This is not a condo among rows of crowded condos, just a small complex set in the dunes. Thanks, Matt for your hospitality.

Anniversary Getaaway

My husband and I stayed in this home in celebration of our one year wedding anniversary. Matt greeted us upon arrival and kindly let us check in a bit early. The home is beautiful inside and very spacious for two people. The kitchen is big and we enjoyed cooking our own meals as well as dining out. The location was perfect distance to area attractions, restaurants and the beach. One of my favorite things about this home is that is is a short distance to a park within the neighborhood that has a walking trail that has gorgeous views of the sound. We walked on it every day. The home is also in a very quiet neighborhood and everyone we met was very friendly. I hope that we will be able to make this a yearly trip. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your rental property. It was perfect.
