Estate, 4 Bedrooms + Media Room/Guest Room, 2.5 Baths, (Sleeps 8)

Our comfortably elegant, sunny, bright, clean and spacious vacation home with heated pool, lovely landscaping and central air-conditioning was designed with the help of an architect and has been tastefully decorated with a summery, Hamptons aesthetic. Newly refinished hardwood floors, nine-foot ceilings throughout the first floor, and many windows, the house is beautiful, light, airy and welcoming.

An ideal place to escape the pressures of the city--and retreat from the bustle of the Hamptons in the high season--the house is convenient and centrally located between East Hampton, Sagaponack and Sag Harbor, but also tucked away on five wooded acres toward the end of a cul-de-sac, adjacent to a 72 acre preserve. A gracious living room with 50' HD Flat Screen TV with DVR and HBO, a fireplace and baby grand piano opens out through two sets of French Doors onto a screened-in porch, and into a lovely great-room--a kitchen and dining-room that comfortably seats up to ten people.

We also comfortably sleep up to ten people in four spacious bedrooms upstairs as well as a separate TV Room/guest room on the main floor. The master bedroom has a king size bed, cathedral ceilings and its own sitting area. The main guest bedroom has a queen size bed. Two additional spacious guest rooms have two twin beds each. All rooms are equipped with lovely 100% cotton sheets and duvets.

The Cook's Kitchen is well-equipped, and the separate TV room with a second HD-Flat Screen TV on the main floor can be closed off and used as a spare bedroom if desired. The house offers many places to gather for conversation or games, as well as nooks to relax alone with a book. We have WIFI--DSL wireless internet access, so bring your laptop and stay totally connected.

Outdoors the house has an expansive lawn and gardens, a lovely patio with a Weber Gas Grill, seating area with fire-pit. We also have a swing-set, a sand-box and a heated pool that is fenced separately from the house.

For children we also have a play area that has toy boxes, books, and a huge Brio train track collection. A high chair and pack'n'play are also available for use.

The house is private, off the main roads, but also within easy access to shopping and restaurants, ocean and bay beaches, cultural activities, and recreation including golf, tennis, and walking & biking trails. The house is an idyllic spot: at the end of a cul-de-sac surrounded by hundreds of acres of preserve land, it is private and quiet, but it is also centrally located in the Hamptons, with easy access to Sag Harbor, East Hampton, Sagaponack and Bridgehampton. It is an amazing place to enjoy the Hamptons.

What makes this estate unique

We enjoy a spacious, clean, bright and sunny home with lots of privacy. The lawn and gardens and woods beyond provide a beautiful retreat. We love to entertain at our vacation home as the house easily accommodates visits from family and friends and the kitchen/dining and living areas have wonderful flow and offer a very appealing space.

Wonderful Family-Friendly Rental, Has Everything You Need

My family and I just completed a week long stay in this house (my husband and I, my 3 yr old, 1 yr old and nanny). We had a wonderful time.
It is perfect for families - everything you need to keep your kids safe, entertained and happy (fenced in pool, swing set, sandbox, perfect yard, toys) as well as high-chair, pack & plays, changing pad, etc. It's also great for the adults --fabulous screened in porch, tons of comfortable outdoor seating with fire pit. The house is casual, comfortable, but also has nice, upscale amenities.
The owners really thought of everything so you don't have to---you honestly will not have a care in the world when you're there.
We loved that it was secluded (located in a beautiful nature preserve), but a short drive to all the great restaurants and shopping in East Hampton & Sag Harbor. (less than 10 minute drive to all the best restaurants).
The owner, Helen was accommodating and nice to deal with. I highly recommend this home.

Wonderful, Relaxing, and Everything We Needed!

Our extended family had such a wonderful stay at this house last year. The grounds are lovely, location ideal (the uber charming town of Sag Harbor is a short drive away), and house comfortably appointed. We had everything we could possibly need, and the owners were so kind and accommodating! The adults and kids in our party were all thrilled. We very much hope to return some day!

Wonderful Stay

My family and I had a wonderful time while staying here over Memorial Day weekend. The inside of the home was charming, especially the master bedroom with it's giant ceiling and abundance of natural light. I also loved the screened-in porch, the ample size of the lawn, and the tremendous water pressure of the outdoor shower. The privacy of the property was perfect - we felt nestled off the beaten path but only hop, skip and a jump away from town.

On top of all of this, my experience with Helen, the owner, was splendid. She was responsive and helpful throughout the entire process. I definitely hope to stay here again next year.

I stayed here with my husband and 23 month-old daughter and we were joined by another couple with a one year-old. We had a great time. The house is plenty big, with sizeable grounds that are landscaped and lovely. It is quite private. The swing set and sandbox made the house a big hit with my daughter. The pool and outdoor shower made it a big hit for my husband. It's a very short drive to Main Street in Sag Harbor and not too much farther to Bridgehampton and East Hampton. I hope to definitely stay here again. The owner, Helen, is very pleasant, which made the experience all the better.

Dear Helen,
Thank you for the use of your home. The surroundings were beautiful and the pool was well used over the weekend. Thank goodness for beautiful weather. Your house was so comfortable and clean with all the amenities we needed. . . We very much hope to come back next year during the summer. P.S. The toys were great and the kids had a blast playing with them.
