Girls getaway to the Beach

This beach house had the perfect location (across the street from Lake with out any houses in front of us) and a great view of Lake Michigan. Although the beach was many steep steps down a large bluff it was beautiful. This house is away from the craziness of the tourist towns nearby. The interior was clean and nice. The owner was kind and easy to work with. The room downstairs (next to the garage) was not nearly as nice as the upstairs rooms. The only problem we had was not his fault...the internet was down while we were there. It was a cable company problem. I would recommend this property.

Owner's Response: Like most rentals in this part of Michigan, except those in the crowded towns along rivers like South Haven, the houses sit on or near high bluffs. This custom build house was design by John Allegretti, an nationally award winning, architect to take full advantage of spectacular 180 degree views of Lake Michigan. It shares a new near by 100 step stairs to a wonderful sugar sand semi-private beach with six other rentals in the area. Shortly after this particular stay, the Cable company replaced the buried high speed Internet line that was cut by a construction crew in the area. It has both an available desktop pc and wireless access. While the charming first floor sleeping area with twin beds does not have the same remarkable views as the third floor bedrooms, it is close to the gardens and outdoor sitting areas. If you are a family or group of six or less and seeking a quiet, relaxing get away surrounded by beautiful gardens and fantastic views of Lake Michigan, this is the place.
