I stayed in this gorgeous home for 4 days.
With soaring cathedral ceilings, gleaming wood floors & a massive stone fireplace in the great room, plus an open concept gourmet kitchen and lovely lake views, it was warm and welcoming. Plus there's a hot tub on the front deck! My downstairs bedroom had its own private bath, & sliding glass doors looking out into a beautiful forest. The entire place was immaculate. And it's just a short walk to great local restaurants and the beach. This home is the perfect blend of rustic elegance and modern convenience. I can't wait to go back!
We stayed here for four nights with our two young kids. Wow, what a great house! This place seemed brand new and really nice! It was on a quiet elevated street yet just a 2 minute drive from town, with views of the lake from the front deck (Hot tub on the deck) The back of the house backs up to a beautiful forrest. The house was very clean, modern, and very comfortable and spacious. It is a quintessential Tahoe Mountain home. In Kings Beach we enjoyed mini golf, swimming, etc. The home is a great jumping off mid-point between Incline side of the lake, and Tahoe City. We were within 10-15 minutes of Sand Harbor/Incline on one side, and Tahoe City/Squaw on the other side. The manager and his wife were also really nice and easy to work with and they keep the home in great condition. Great location great house. Can't wait to come back next year!
I would stay here again in a heart beat. Very clean and nice, close to everything. Had a great time! Thanks for sharing your home.
We stayed for 2 nights and booked it last minute. Gerry was great and helped us even with short notice. The cabin is beautiful and although there was only 2 of us, we would love to stay again with friends. We made dinner every night in the well equipped kitchen. The fireplace kept the entire downstairs nice and cozy.
Very clean and well maintained. Can't wait to stay here again! I was extremely impressed.
Comfortable, warm, cozy, clean......we loved it!!!! We did not want to leave at all. The snow wasn't so great for skiing this time around, but coming back to this cabin after a day of fighting crowded ski resorts and icy runs made all the difference. So relaxing and nice, with a gorgeous view of the lake. Great margaritas and mexican food just down the street too! Definitely going back again soon!
We recently had a 5 night stay in this beautiful house during my family's 7 week overseas trip. We were travelling from Australia and our stay here at Kings Beach was a highlight of our trip. The house is beautifully appointed in every way, from the kitchen & appliances to the stunning stone fireplace and the upstairs master suite. The double glassed fireplace & the travertine tiled bathroom is just stunning. Did I mention the outdoor spa, which was fantastic after a days skiing at Northstar. My daughters thought it was fantastic to sit in the spa with homemade icies from the yard!!! The only problem is that now that we have been totally spoilt, I don't know how we will ski in Aus again.
Gerry the agent was so nice, very helpful and accommodating, but I really don't think the photos do this place justice.
Hopefully we'll make it back to Tahoe and this property again one day, and would certainly recommend it to fellow travellers.
5 minutes from casinos. 20 minutes to North Star ski and golf resort. Walking distance (a third of a mile) to Lake Tahoe beaches and water sports. Tahoe Forest hiking trail 30 yards from house.
