Situated on a 100' wide channel in beautiful Key Colony Beach, this higher end 3 BR/2 BA home has a light and bright open floor plan. Built in 2001, the home has a fantastic large kitchen open to the living room and dining rooms. Stay cool in the air conditioning or open up the large sliding patio doors and enjoy the warm breezes. The home has the 'preferred' southeastern exposure for maximum comfort. Sit by the palm trees on the deck or fish off the 37.5' step-down dock. The clear channel is home to a wide variety of sea creatures. Clean your catch on our cleaning table and cook it on the gas grill. Take your 'Catch of the Day' to one of the local restaurants and they will prepare it for you! There is parking to accommodate up to three vehicles & a small boat trailer. Public parking lot nearby for larger trailers.
Our management company is available to assist you with check in/out and to answer any questions you may have about our home, Key Colony Beach, or the Keys area.
The large master bedroom has a king bed and sitting area as well as a large private master bath with double vanity. The 2nd bedroom has a queen bed and the 3rd bedroom holds a queen and a twin. All bedrooms include TVs, alarm clock/radios, DVD players & ceiling fans. All of your bed, bath and kitchen linens are provided other than beach towels, which you must provide yourself. The mattresses and linens, including pillows, are all new as of 2012. There is also a queen sleeper sofa in living room providing a 4th area for your sleeping option.
The beautiful open kitchen has everything you need for a small lunch or a major feast, except the groceries! Appliances include refrigerator w/icemaker, microwave, dishwasher, coffeemaker, and blender, toaster, & toaster oven.
You don't need to pack lots of clothes as there is also brand new high capacity washer and dryer. A new Weber gas grill is provided to prepare your 'catch of the day'.
There are 4 TVs (42' plasma in LR), 4 DVD players, a MP3/CD player, and a telephone with local service. We have a small library of books for your reading pleasure. And don't forget that we have Wireless High-Speed Internet - not dial-up! So stay in touch with home or the office with ease.
For the fishermen, you will appreciate the fish cleaning table, bait freezer and availability of parking for a small boat trailer on the premises. Boaters will enjoy the step-down dock with electricity, water and quick direct access to the Atlantic and Gulf through the Vaca Cut.
Activities: The City of Key Colony Beach's Sunset Park is a short walk where you can watch the sunset each evening. Fishing charters, dive/snorkel excursions can all be originated right from the neighborhood.
Great restaurants for both indoor and outdoor dining are also within walking distance.
Key Colony Beach has city tennis courts, shuffleboard, bocce ball, basketball court, children's playground and a 9-hole par 3 golf course.
Access to The Cabana Club is included in your rental. It's a swim/beach club with a 65' chilled/heated pool on the Atlantic with a beach. Take the short walk, drive, or just call them - they'll pick you up. Splash in the large pool, check out their snack bar and full service bar, or just sit in a chair on the white sand beach. The kids will enjoy the game room while you relax in the tropical surroundings during your stay in Key Colony Beach.
Area: Key Colony Beach is a 1-hour drive from Key West or only 2 hours from Miami. Or fly from Ft. Lauderdale on Florida Coastal Air direct to Marathon.
