This Property has been in my family since the 1930's. We built this Saltbox style home in the 70's and remove the cabin that was here.
Jim Robinson purchased this house in 1940
It has the best view's of the harbor and Breakwater and is sheltered from any storms.
Very Quiet and peaceful.
Owls Head is a quaint little town near Rockland and there are many things to do in the area. Including visiting the Owls Head Transportation Museum, The Farnsworth Art Museum (many important pieces from the Wyeth family are displayed), many art Galleries and Boutiques. There are many great restaurants. You can take a day or sunset trip on a schooner or ferry trip to the local Islands for a great day trip. There are places to rent Kayaks for the day or the week and enjoy the quiet harbor. Take a walk on the one mile Rockland Breakwater, play 2 great golf courses Rockland & Samoset or just relax here at the waters edge. We have great large flat ledges for sun bathing 30' off the front deck; it is very private and secluded and overlooks Rockland Harbor. There are also many beautiful sandy beaches in the area and the Owl's Head Light house nearby. Once you have visited once you will want to come back every year!
