Big kitchen for the cook with a living room, dining room, family room, 2 large decks overlooking a peek of the lake with numerous lawns and landscaped grounds. The home has been remodeled with granite in the baths, faux painted walls, and it is nicely furnished. Walking distance to the Dollar Point pool & tennis courts and access to the beach & pier is nearby. Mountain bike right from the house and there are bike trails too. Great location, about 2 miles east of Tahoe City's restaurants & shopping. Conveniently located for golf or skiing. A 15-20 minute drive to North Tahoe's first class skiing & snowboarding.

  • $185-400 /Night
  • Taxes, Deposits & Cleaning

    10% Placer County Room Tax on rental, $160 cleaning fee, and refundable $400 security/damage/reservation deposit are required in addition to the nightly rate. The security/reservation deposit is due with the reservation. Rent & cleaning fees are due 60 days prior to occupancy for June,July, August, September, ski season weekends, and holiday time periods. All other time periods, rent & cleaning fees are due 45 days prior to occupancy.

    July, August, September, ski season weekends, and Holidays Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made outside of 60 days, a full refund of the security deposit less a $70.00 service fee will be made. Cancellations between 45-60 days, the security deposit will be forfeited should a rebooking not occur. Cancellations made with less than 45 days notice and should a rebooking not occur, the rent will be forfeited. The tax and cleaning fee will be refunded on all cancellations.
  • Off Season Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made outside of 45 days, a full refund of the security deposit less a $70.00 service fee will be made. Cancellations between 30-45 days, the security deposit will be forfeited should a rebooking not occur. Cancellations made with less than 30 days notice and should a rebooking not occur, the rent will be forfeited. The tax and cleaning fee will be refunded on all cancellations.

WE HAD A WONDERFUL 10 DAY SUMMER VACATION
AT GAIL'S HOME IN DOLLAR POINT. WE WERE
HAPPY TO HAVE OUR DOG ZOE BE ABLE TO JOIN US
AS WELL. THE HOUSE IS CLEAN, UPDATED AND HAS
A GREAT FLOORPLAN. THE BACK DECK IS
WONDERFUL TO HANG OUT ON WITH GREAT VIEWS
OF THE LAKE AND A NICE GRASS AREA BELOW FOR
OUR KIDS TO PLAY. DOLLAR POINT HAS A REALLY
NICE POOL AND BEACH AS WELL. CAN'T WAIT
UNTIL NEXT YEAR!

Great place to stay for a family vacation!! Great layout for summer or winter, is well equipped and appointed. Dog Friendly which our Golden enjoyed thoroughly. Gail always guarantees great snow during the Winter-and we had a ton this visit!!

Gail Baker has a very nice vacation home in Dollar Point. It is a neat, clean and well appointed place, perfect for a few couples or a large family. The best thing is that the house is in a great location. It has a view of the lake and it's easily accessible from the main road so it's only a short drive to Tahoe City and Squaw and Alpine as well as Northstar.
The bottom line is we had a great time at her place.

We had a wonderful week at Gail Baker's beautiful home in Dollar Point, Tahoe City. Gail has thought of everything you need for a wonderful home-away- from-home, and more! The house is lovely & in a great area for walking. The living room and separate family room, plus the two separate decks provide lots of space. The back deck is so peaceful & relaxing, with lakeview & pine tree forest setting! Plus, you (and your dog) are entertained by watching the antics of the many friendly blue jays & grey squirrels. Can't wait to go back.

We had a wonderful stay. The house is nicely decorated and has all the necessary amenities. It was peaceful and quiet. You can take long walks down to the water or around the neighborhood. It was easy to drive into Tahoe City for groceries and also had a 7-11 in walking distance. We appreciated being somewhere where our dog was welcome. We would definitely return for aother visit.
