The house is unique with a hot tub in the sun room, a master bedroom with a skylight over the bed, fantastic views and custom black ash woodwork. The front porch features wrap around windows, pine paneling and a great sunrise view. A wood stove/fireplace is located in the central living room. Large windows on both west facing levels have a 10 mile view over the wild forests and valleys of the Keweenaw. Copper Harbor and the Porcupine Mountains (Porkies) are 1 hour away. Spring and fall have the lowest prices but still offer lots to do in town or the area. Tons of snow in the winter with great skiing and snowmoblling conditions from late Nov. to the end of March
More Details and Activities:
Sauna, stocked trout pond, hot tub, hiking trails, picnic area, large deck, microwave, dishwasher, all kitchen accessories, washer-dryer, basketball hoop, satellite TV, etc. etc., just bring food for an incredible time in the Keweenaw.
This is a very unique property with absolute privacy. There are incredible starry views out skylights in the master bedroom and the hot tub room. Northern lights are common, especially after midnight. Canoe provided for paddling on the large pond. Sit around a campfire and listen to the sounds of the night. Take a walk on the trails through the woods. Go to the University town of Houghton 12 miles away and enjoy fine dining, the great mineral museum, unique gift shops or live music. It's a town of about 15,000 with lots of charm.
In the winter there are ski trails, snowmobiling areas, and the sauna outside is an absolutely incredible and private experience. We average over 15 feet of snow per year. Snowshoes are available and so are sleds!

We just arrived home from our vacation and wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed your property. Everything was perfect. We found ourselves having difficulty leaving the farm for other activities. The dogs tried to convince us to stay forever, but they had to settle for an opportunity to someday return. Going to bed with a blanket of stars overhead and waking up to deer grazing in the backyard are luxuries not experienced in Cleveland. Lisa P.
We were able to watch a bobcat saunter through your back field one evening and several eagles around the pond in the mornings. D.H.
Just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed our stay at your Keweenaw home. Watching the deer in the morning from the deck and then watching for shooting stars at night was big fun. The weather was near perfect all the while we were there so we were able to enjoy the great outdoors. What a great place to get away from it all. R.K.
