When we first saw the pictures of this house on the rental web site, we have to admit it looked too good to be true. But this home lives up to expectations in every possible way. You really feel like you are stepping into the pages of "House Beautiful" magazine.
But more importantly, everything is arranged to make it very easy to settle in easily on our arrival. We immediately felt comfortable there. The house is fully equipped and very well organized. Things that you need are almost always where you'd guess they'd be. Also, there's a large three ring binder full of handy information, from rubbish pickups to beach info, to restaurant menus, to local sightseeing and activities info.
We are originally from Cape Cod, so we feel we are spoiled as far as beaches go, but we fell in love with Silvershell Beach, Marion's town beach. Our grandkids had a ball there, and we loved watching all the sailboats going in and out of the harbor (We also loved watching them from the deck at the house every evening). And most nights (and some
mornings) the "walk to the point" was a relaxing way to get some exercise and enjoy the spectacular scenery.
We are grateful for our three week stay here. It was a vacation to remember.
We have just returned from a lovely stay in this welcoming home. We decided to bring in the New Year on a quiet note with dear friends.
My husband and I have rented many homes throughout our years of travel. We have high standards when renting and fortunately, we have had very good luck in our choices. In this case, I must say the home was a perfect rental!
I loved, loved, loved the fact that it was very organized, very clean and really comfortable.
Though we only cooked one main meal there, it had everything we needed. There was no hunting, or sifting through drawers at meal prep time, it was there in the most logical spot!
We were not at all disappointed in the properties location. Though it was a winter trip, a water view was important. We were quite happy to discover a view from just about every room!
We did brave a crisp walk down to a small private beach in front of the property and a jaunt around the neighborhood and town. It was very picturesque! Not hard to imagine a summer visit here.
The owners were helpful and only a text away with any questions or recommendations we had. Thank you Maggie. A five star rating...well deserved.
Everything about this house was fantastic from the helpful owners to the to the great waterfront location, not to mention the comfortable and beautiful furnishings. We were a large family in Marion for a graduation and it fit our needs to a tee!

We had always planned to find a nice beach house to rent for the weekend when our daughter graduated from UMass Dartmouth and boy did this gem deliver. Very spacious and well appointed home, equipped with everything you would ever need. Attention was paid to every detail, and was spotless, yet comfortable enough to kick your feet up with family and friends. Believe me when I say both old and young did not want to leave this magnificent property!!! Owners were more than accommodating. The property more than suited our needs and had others wishing they had done the same. We had a wonderful time and would not hesitate to return.

We rented this home as a base for out-of-town family attending a reunion. Our group included our 89-year old aunt. The home was ideally designed for our needs, with ample private bedrooms and baths, including a main floor master suite. The well equipped kitchen had everything necessary for simple meals, as well as more formal dining. Large family areas and the spacious decks were ideal for entertaining and quiet talks. The sunrise over Sippican Harbor each morning could not be beat!
The owners of this home truly anticipated every need of their guests and were instrumental in making our reunion a memorable one that we will cherish for years.
