Experience this beautiful secluded log cabin on 9 scenic acres overlooking a babbling, meandering brook. This cabin has everything you need for a relaxing get-away. Soak away your troubles in a private hot tub as you listen to the sounds of nature just outside the screened porch. View wildlife in the prairie and woods right from your breakfast table. Explore your surroundings by hiking or short car trips to some of Wisconsin's most beautiful and unique landscapes.

Located close to the scenic Mississippi River where you can watch the eagles soar, hike, fish, enjoy water sports and enjoy spectacular sunsets. Nearby is the Rush Creek State Nature Preserve. In the winter, enjoy cross county skiing and snowmobiling.

Travel south on the Great River Road to visit the Mississippi River boat locks, Cabella Outfitters and Villa Louis in historic Prairie Du Chien. Try your luck at the casinos just across the river in Iowa and some of the great dining and shopping in the area.

This is the PERFECT place for a secluded get away. No cell reception, No radio reception, No cable TV! There is surround sound, even out on the deck... so bring your favorite CDs! Also, the TV has been updated to a nice flat screen since these pictured have been taken. Also, if you're up for meeting some wildly fun and friendly locals, you MUST check out The Wooden Nickle in Ferryville! Tell Jerry, Hope and Brandon sent you :-)

Excellent Cabin!

We had a fantastic time at the Rustic Retreat. The cabin delivers on everything promised in the pictures and more- there is a fantastic backyard with a fire pit as well! We went in August, and now want to go back in the winter. The name Rustic Retreat is a little misleading- there are many modern ammenities in the cabin and it is kept up very well. We found the place to be clean and charming and Eric, the owner was a great and very helpful guy. Highly recomended!

Very Relaxing!!!

"Really beautiful setting on remote, isolated road. Everything you need for a simple, comfortable getaway with good eats nearby. Orchards, cheese curds, shopping, hiking, and the Mississippi river all very close. Great bonfire area, hot tub and a spectacular views of the country side. Lots of fun for my husband and I on our Anniversary getaway. Give yourself plenty of time to slow down to the pace of things and enjoy the peace and quiet, there is so much to take in!!!!"
