Gorgeous, comfortable home with wonderful owner

My family and I stayed 6 nights while our home was being repaired. We had just come from a rental in Venice, where the owners left a LOT to be desired. This home-- and homeowner-- were completely the opposite. She was extremely accommodating of all requests and very helpful. The home itself was a wonderful get-away for us, even though we live just 2 miles away. The kitchen has everything under the sun, from a plethora of all of the basics (e.g. lots of matching plates, silverware, wine glasses,etc) to the small things that make short-term renting tough sometimes (e.g., tea bags, coffee filters). The bedrooms were all lovely, esp the master bed. (My husband and I were a little sad when we had to leave as Camila's bed is more comfortable than our own!) My children found the master bathroom's sunken tub to be an adventure, too. The backyard patio is an oasis-- we had many meals out there under the shaded decking. We also really appreciated all of the small things that helped us feel at home, like the board games, movies, and books. The house is very spacious and quiet, which can be a challenge in the LA area sometimes. I also worked from the home, and the WiFi connection was great. All in all, a great experience, a lovely home that I would recommend for a family coming to town, anyone needing to move out for repairs, etc. I could not have asked for more. Thank you, Camila!
