This antique family home has been lovingly restored and updated with all new appliances. On the first floor is a large eat-in kitchen with an attached pantry/laundry with lots of overflow storage and a new washer and dryer. The dining room has a comfortable 8 seat table. The pine paneled living room is equipped with a flat screen TV with DVD, complete surround sound stereo and bookcases.
Off the living room is a den furnished with a queen sized futon. Upstairs there are 4 bedrooms-one is hidden meaning it is directly connected to another. 3 of these bedrooms have twin beds which if desired can be put together forming kings. The fourth bedroom has a queen bed. Also on this floor is a full bath. On the ground floor off the kitchen is a porch and small patio with a Weber charcoal grille. There is also a large outdoor shower.
Just steps to the Oyster Pond Beach which has calm, gentle waters, Lifeguards and rafts making it ideal for young children or serious swimmers. For Beach walking, surfing or windsurfing the home is not far from the famous Chatham Lighthouse and the Atlantic Ocean. Here the water is cooler and the beach is miles long- a great place to see the seal colonies which have taken up residence or practice your surfcasting or flyfishing-when the bass and bluefish are running you may have a treat. Also nearby are the beaches of Nantucket Sound with it's warmer waters.
The fall is gorgeous on Cape Cod. It is a perfect time for beach walking, bird watching and just relaxing. The beach water is still plenty warm for swimming. How about a ladies retreat-gather up 6 or 7 friends and enjoy great restaurants without all the crowds and the shopping is still awsome and probably sale quality-SALE,SALE,SALE!!!!!!!!!
The Chatham Squire has been a favorite grub and pub for decades and you must enjoy our other fantastic restaurants. Who can resist the shopping at Chatham's exquisite shops.
You must take a short trip to the Fish Pier where you can watch the fishing fleet unload their days catch and for an added treat you can have the Fish Market cook up lobsters or fried clams-it doesn't come any fresher than this. The bike trail runs through Chatham and you can ride from Dennis to Provincetown. Our library is world class, our galleries are fabulous and our Antique Show and Sale and Arts Festival in August draw exhibitors from around the country.
All in all Chatham has something for everyone whether you want to relax on the beach, partake in athletic activities or shop till you drop.

I purchased this home from the estate of my father who passed away at the age of 97. He was born in this house and lived here most of his life. I have spent every summer of my life in Chatham and have owned and run an Inn in town since my retirement.
