Would return in a heartbeat to this charming "cottage"

I was in the Philippines on business and decided at very last minute to spend the weekend in Oahu. On VRBO - I contacted a few north shore properties that had availability starting in two days time. The owner of this VRBO rental, Jack, called me back right away - and with a gentleman's agreement - closed the deal for three nights at this cozy, comfortable, cute, apartment. Owner VRBO photos and description are very accurate. I really just needed a bed to crash - but this apt in lower level of typical Hawaiian townhome - had a cozy cottage feel. Kitchen is well equipped - though all I made was coffee and "Irish Coffee". But apt has microwave, coffee maker, electric tea kettle, toaster, saute pan setup, etc. A BBQ grill outside too - which I guess one could use - though never even asked. (I highly recommend the whole grilled red-snapper at Hale'iva Joes nearby.) Property was quite quiet - went to sleep with crickets and awoke to sound of roosters gently cooing in distance. Lava, the owners dog, knows that the doggie-treats are on the potting table - and on occassion - will sweetly remind you. I loved staying here - because it felt like I was living here in Oahu - e.g. that is a gift to be treasured when traveling. Foodland Supermarket is just as bottom on the hill on Pupukea. The stargazing and bird watching on this property are excellent. I stopped at Walmart on the short drive from HON airport to Hale'iva - to buy a $50 pair of binoculars - which are critical IMHO for the north shore: Birdwatching, flora watching, star gazing, surf watching, surfer-girl watching - all require good binoculars. Make sure to pack yours.
