This property is right on the lakefront, with a spectacular panoramic view of 23-mile-long Lake Leelanau. The house is approximately 50 feet from the water's edge, with clean shallow swimming and a mostly sand bottom. Very Low Bugs. Home has a fully furnished kitchen with microwave, dishwasher, stove, and refrigerator. Wheelchair ramps available, lower bed and bath are handicap accessible. Dining area and living area with fireplace, cable TV, and DVD player, vaulted ceilings. There is a laundry room and spacious wrap-around deck overlooking the lake. Sixteen-foot row-boat,30'dock, and shallow waters 50 feet out for swimming. Lawn goes right to the waters edge. This luxury log home is available for year-round rental. Enjoy summer water sports, Jet-skies, MasterCraft Ski-boat, Pontoon boat are available for rent on site. Paved walking/biking trail just 1 mile away.

    $1000.00 Deposit is non-refundable if canceled within 90 days of reservation.
    Balance DUE two weeks prior to check in. We accept Personal Checks, Cashiers Check or Money Order
    All Weeks are Saturday PM (check-in 3PM) to Saturday AM (check-out 11AM).
    Reservations are confirmed via US mail, after deposit is received and cleared.

    Off Season: $350/night OR $1600/week.

The house was perfect. The weather was not. Though, I can think of no better place to be trapped indoors on a cold, rainy day. The Richards have truly thought of everything. The thoughtfully appointed, comfortable bedrooms were a great place to crash after a day of exploring the area's offerings (which are too many to describe here). There was even a built-in stereo system that got along well with my iPod! If you're lucky enough to find Margie's Resort vacant, don't hesitate! It's even better than their Website describes.

Comfortable and clean house made for a great vacation week shared by a couple of families. Pat and family are very helpful. The AC came in handy a couple of nights;.
