Our Mariner's Watch Villa is located on Kiawah Island's East Beach only 200yds to the beach. The living room has a a Sherill queen sleeper sofa, flat screen TV with cable, DVD, and radio/CD player. The bedroom has a queen bed, linens, comforter and blankets are supplied. The bathroon is accessable from the master and hallway has recently undergone a total renovation, beautiful marble floor and tub surround, baltic brown granite vanity . The kitchen is brand new with beautiiful mape with coffee glaze cabinets, granite countertop and travertine backsplash. The kitchen has a Bosch dishwasher and convection oven, big enough to cook the Thanksgiving turkey. The screened porch overlooks the lagoon at the back of the villa and is equipped with 2 patio tables and chairs, a perfect setting for breakfast or lunch. The Tennis Club, Town Center and the Sanctuary Hotel are within walking/biking distance. The Atlantic ocean with 10 miles of sandy beach is only 200 yards away.

Kiawah is located in the low country of South Carolina near historic Charleston about 45 minute drive. Walk 200 yards from the villa and discover 10 miles of the best white sandy beach on the east coast. The Bohicket Marina is located nearby and will allow you to take advantage of all the water activities. There is also a lagoon directly behind the villa. Allie the alligator can be seen here from time to time. Charleston of course is home to some beautiful old plantations and their gardens. The drive into Kiawah on Johns Island is lined with beautiful old oak trees. At the traffic circle between Kiawah island and Seabrook island, Freshfields village provides guests with many stores and Newton Farms grocery store with full deli.

The utility room on the screened porch houses a washer and dryer. Amenities: BR Phone, Central Air Conditioning, Cable TV, DVD, CD/Tape/Radio Player, Books, Games, Microwave, Dishwasher, Coffee Maker, Full Kitchen, Cookware and Utensils provided, All Linens provided, Beach chairs. No pets allowed and no smoking in villa or on screened porch. Activities: The best thing to do at Kiawah is nothing! However, if you are inclined, the beach is certainly the main attraction. 10 miles of the most beautiful beach on the east coast. Kiawah also has lots of bike trails to enjoy and biking is one of the most popular activities on Kiawah. Four world championship golf courses are available on the island as well as the great Clyde Johnston designed Oak Point Course just off the island.

Our favorite place on the island is the Atlantic room at the Ocean Course. Sit on the porch and watch the golfers on the ocean course overlooking the Atlantic ocean while you have lunch.It's certainly worth the drive or bike ride to get there.

This was our fourth stay at a villa in Mariners Watch and I have to say that this was one of our best stays. The villa is located right next to a walkway to the beach, which is less than a minute away. The villa itself has been tastefully updated and provides a very pleasant and relaxing atmosphere after a day at the beach or a day in Charleston.

We've rented villas in the past from the Kiawah Resort, but I have to say that this was one of the smoothest and easiest ways to rent a villa. I would highly recommend this villa for your next beach vacation or for just a weekend getaway.
