The beds have exceptional mattresses, high thread count pima cotton sheets, and down pillows.
The 1080P high definition projector provides a crystal clear 77' diagonal image with a calibrated 5.1 high end sound system. The HD cable with DVR let's you watch HD shows on your schedule. The Blu-Ray / DVD player really shows off the system best.
Everything in this house is convenient. The washer/dryer are right next to the kitchen. You can watch the 6.5 foot diagonal projection screen from the kitchen sink and the dining table. The master bedroom has a walk-in closet and spacious double sinks.
We were really shocked when we rented $1,500 mountain bikes and the bike rental shop didn't provide us locks to lock up the bikes. They didn't even have locks if we wanted them! We noticed that nobody in Park City locks their bikes. This is one small indicator of how relaxed and different Park City really is.
The garage is on the first floor and the rest of the rooms are on the second floor. You access the garage from inside the house. So you aren't exposed to the snow when leaving from or coming to the house with your car.
There are equipment racks in the garage and right inside house. So your skis are at your fingertips without having to bring them into the house. And your boots stay in a warm area so they are nice to put on then next morning.

Why The Owner chose Kimball Junction
After looking at many ski in/ski out properties in Park City our two daughters demanded that we only consider this place. The ski in/ski out properties are great in the morning getting on the slopes. However after skiing everybody is stuck in an isolated area. At this property we ski all day, pick up the family right next to the lifts, and then are 30 yards from all the best activities and restaurants in town. This particular unit had a great layout. We've stayed in others but this layout just worked better for us because: * the bedrooms are on opposite sides of the condo instead of right next to each other (peace for parents) * there is a one car garage (no clearing the car after the copious Utah powder falls all night) * the path from the garage to the unit is all inside (no trudging through snow after a hard day of skiing) * the corner unit means there are lots of windows with light everywhere
What makes this townhome unique
First, this property has a great layout. The master bedroom and the second bedroom are on opposite sides of family room. This allows Mom and Dad to get some peace and privacy when away from the kids. Second, we really hate vacation hotels and condos with tiny TVs. We enjoy watching movies after a day skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking, etc. So as soon as we purchased this property we invested in a custom home theatre installation. There is now a large 1080P HD LCD TV in the master bedroom. And a very large screen 1080P front projector with an incredible sound system in the family room. Seems a bit silly with a movie theatre 200 feet away, but we really enjoy the private viewing.
