Stylishly appointed, this 4 room studio suite (478sq.ft.) was designed with comfort foremost in mind. Commodious seating, luxurious new bedding, a quality Cal-King mattress and high end bath linens are just a few of the “upscale” amenities. The cool blue and stone colored walls compliment the contemporary furnishings, clean lines, hardwoods, bamboo flooring and oriental carpets. Waves play in the floor to ceiling beveled mirror wall panel. The Asian art found throughout the apartment (museum puttied in place to prevent accidents) lends an exotic air to the décor.
The same care to detail is shown throughout the rest of the suite.
Soothing to the senses and stocked with everything needed for an evening of fine dining “ensuite” to a beach picnic, this apartment may well be the “Best Bang for the Buck” accommodation on the Kona coast.
*For those of you celebrating a special occasion: Rest assured that we go the extra mile to insure that it is, indeed, a *very special* occasion. Dark chocolate covered macadamia nuts and a NICE chilled Chardonnay will be waiting for you to enjoy. Live plants, fresh flowers, fruit or other treats will be placed in your suite on the day of your arrival.
'The Kona Bali Kai'. Midway down Ali'i Drive is famous surf spot 'Banyans' (your view, as pictured in the slide show), adjacent to the Kona Bali Kai main building. (2 miles north to 'Restaurant Row' and the Village, 3 miles south to Keahou Bay and less than a mile to “Magic Sands” beach.) Across and just south from the main building, 12 unit 'Building 3' is easily accessed and has a 'laid back' feeling not usually associated with condos. The unit is on the slightly elevated (10 ft. above sea level) first floor (easy access and good views of the ocean over 2 lane Ali'i Drive), with private residences on the north and east, a 'Mom and Pop' style market (w/ spirits) on the south and the Pacific Ocean to your west.

Aloha! Nous avons recemment passe trois mervelleuses semaines de vacance a Kona Bali Kai dans le condo de Rebecca. Tel qu, entendu Rebecca etait la pour nous acceullir avec son Aloha bienvenue fleurs, vin et noix de maccadam, tout etait parfait ce condo est tres propre et tres bien meuble la decoration a ete choisi avec grand soin, la cuisine est tres bien organisee il ne manque rien, de meme pour la salle de bain, nous avons beaucoup apprecie les serviettes de plage, chaises de plage, et le petit cooler toujour avec nous pour snacks et breuvages. L, endroit est tres bien situe, le stationnement est juste a cote de l, immeuble et nous abons la petite plage Banyan juste en face, endroit pour surfers, que nous pouvons admirer de notre lanai a Hawaii. Pour nous cette place est 5 etoiles dans sa categorie. Mahalo a Rebecca.
Aloha! We recently have spent 3 wonderful week of vacation at Kona Bali Kai in the Rebeccas condo.
As it was supposed to be Rebecca was there to welcome us with her Aloha gift -Flowers,wine and maccadam, all was perfect,this condo is clean very well furnished and the decoration has been done with great care,the kitchen is well organized nothing is missing,the same for the bath room,and we have appreciate a lot of having beach towells,beach chairs and the small cooler always with us for snacks and beverages.
It is very well located,the parking is just by the side of the building and the others services as pool, BBQ. laundry are easy acces.
And there is the small Banyan beach across the street which we can watch the surfers performing their favorite sport from our lanai in Hawaii.
We wish to return again.

My wife and I loved spending our 25th wedding anniversary at this wonderful place. This condo was the perfect launch point for our week of adventuring. The location was perfect with easy access to a surf shop, the ocean across the street, and the extras which included beach chairs, towels, and boogie boards. The kitchen was well equipped and the balcony had a nice view of the local surf spot. All in all we felt very comfortable in this condo and would stay here again if we make it back to Kona.
This place was such a great deal to find in Kona and was a great home base for exploration. Don't expect a fabulous view from inside the residence, mostly just a view of the Banyan Market - not that glamorous. But once you get out on the lanai or cross the street to the grass area, your views are fantastic! We spent many an hour watching the waves and turtles from the beach across the street. Laundry facilities were as advertised, and the front desk will sell you some Ride for $2.00. The location along Ali'i drive really gives you a feel for the life of the town, and the hustle and bustle of the day's activities from your room. But the proximity to great snorkeling, hiking, and good food was awesome. The studio was clean and Rebecca was super friendly and accommodating. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would rent it again.
My stay at the Bali Kai condo was more than I had expected. It's central location made vacationing in Kona comfortable and convenient. The apartment is beautifully furnished, and stocked with all the essentials. It was like being at home, with a full sized fridge, stove, and all of the kitchen supplies I felt like I wasn't stuck having to eat out for every meal. The bed is super comfy and the view of the beach was perfect. Banyans surf beach is directly across the street so it was little effort to motivate and catch some waves. Bring your board and get out there! I also enjoyed the pool access and Jacuzzi dips. The water in the pool was surprisingly warm and the Jacuzzi was filled with incredible HOT water! A great place to meet other guests and mingle after sunset. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends and family!
This condo is very clean, comfortable, and well-stocked with amenities and extras. Rebecca was extremely easy to work with on the transaction and information, and did everything in her power to ensure our stay at her cute little condo was pleasant and stress-free. Additionally, the staff at the the Kona Bali Kai were all very friendly and helpful. In retrospect we really wish we'd stayed there for an additional week, versus going over to the Hilo side. I would definitely stay here again.
Great apartment it has everything one needs
The location is central, easy access to beaches and shopping.
We had a great time.
Here we are on the last day of our vacation in this marvelous apartment, that has everything and more to make a vacationers time the best it could possibly be. A bottle of wine chilling in the fridge on arrival day, condiments, butter and some coffee at our disposal, so we didn't have to go shopping right away, very thoughtful!
We found this to be a very spacious apartment with so many amenities, almost better than home! There are luxurious towels, beautiful bedding, lots of seating inside and out on the lanai (which we spent most of our time on: what a view!!!), books, DVD's, and 'toys' for the beach (loved the beach chairs, how practical are those!!).
The owner is very caring and made sure that our stay was a success and we would definitely come back to this location, if we return to Big Island; wouldn't even consider any other location, no way!! Thank you very much for 100% comfort in beautiful Kailua-Kona!!
