The house has a double car garage with a remote opener, and is on a corner lot with friendly but private neighbors. The rear yard (pebbles-no sod) is surrounded with a 5' high block/stucco privacy fence and is landscaped with oleander and red bougainvillea plantings, plus several fruit trees. A covered patio is in the back yard, attached to the house, and has a patio table with six chairs and a gas grill. The back yard faces south to take advantage of the winter sun.
Activities:
This '55+' adult community, Mountainbrook Village has its own Mountainbrook Golf Course. It is a short drive to the Gold Canyon Resort with its Sidewinder and Dinosaur Mountain courses. The community center, about 10 minutes' walk away, has a swimming pool, whirlpool, billiards, fitness center, tennis courts and a well stocked library with computer. Mountainbrook Village has almost four dozen activity groups (alphabetically from 'Band' to 'Wisconsin Club') to participate with, as diverse as hiking, motorcycling and quilting. People hike to the top of local Silly Mountain to watch the sunset. Strolling after dark is beautiful! Mountainbrook Village is a 'no street lights' community, (with minimal car traffic) so when taking an evening stroll, one's eyes adjust to the darkness. The beauty of the sky, the interwoven desert and the Superstition Mountains can be seen. The night-time beauty is continually amazing.
