House, 3 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, (Sleeps 6-8)

Our home is on 3.5 beautiful acres with a large grass front yard and woods surrounding the house and yard. There is a rock fire pit great for cooking your lobsters. Located in an exclusive neighborhood with beach access across the street. Access to the island via a causeway from the village of Yarmouth.

Cousins Island is one of the "Calendar Islands" of Casco Bay. Just a short walk down the street to the Chebeague Island Ferry. Chebeague has a nice hotel/restaurant and is great for taking a walk. Slip back decades on Chebeague Island. Our home is thirty minutes from downton Portland, a small city with great entertainment, dinning and arts. Ten miles the other direction is Freeport with L.L. Bean and other outlet stores. Two hours by car or train to Boston.

We have been living in Maine for the past 15 years. Now that we are retired we spend a lot of time in California where our children and grandchildren live. We love our home in Maine and hope to share it's beauty with others.

What an incredible place! We had everything we needed and more. The owners are very generous with their home and belongings which made our week an absolute delight.

My husband, Nick and I stayed in your lovely home for 2 weeks while waiting for our newely bought home to be ready for us to move into. We were also waiting for our son to be born. As nature would have it, we made a side trip to the hospital where I gave birth to our beautiful son, Sam. He spent his first week of life in your home, greeting his many well wishers and learning the ways of his new world. We took him down to the beach, sat by an evening fire on your front lawn and bathed him in your kitchen sink. I have wonderful memories of holding him and telling him all about the turkeys that were climbing the hill outside the window. What a wonderful first home he had! We felt so fortunatr to be in a comfortable and welcoming house--a place where we started our journey as a new family. We just wanted you to know that something unique and wonderful occured in your home last summer.
