Experience 'Hawaiiana style' country living in our unique custom guest cottage by the Bay, on an acre of lush tropical gardens with beautiful water and mountain views. The shoreline is approx. 300 ft. away & there's a swimming beach just 3 miles north. This private hideaway is very spacious (850 sq.ft.w/450 sq.ft. sleeping loft). It's comfortably furnished w/Rattan & Indonesian furniture. The interior consists of a living room with an open beamed ceiling, dining area along with a counter bar, 2 bedrooms in open loft area partitioned by a walk-in closet; full bath, fully equipped kitchen and wrap around lanai/deck. Equipped with phone, Wi-Fi Internet access, Cable TV, VCR, CD Player/Radio, washer/dryer, hammock and BBQ.

This private retreat is located on the north end of Kaneohe Bay, about 7 miles north of Kaneohe, in an exclusive area known as Waikane-'Water of the Gods' ...on the Windward side of Oahu. Watch the sun rise over the Bay and Chinaman's Hat, a small island off the shore. Just a few miles north is the beautiful Kualoa Beach Park for swimming and hiking, and Kualoa Ranch where there's horseback riding and special events. Kailua Beach and Lanikai are approx. 20 minutes south; NorthShore and Waimea Bay are approx. 40 minutes north; Honolulu is about 20 minutes southwest.

We walked in the front door of this lovely cottage and said, "Wow!" We've rented many condos and houses in Hawaii over the years, and this is by far the nicest. It is beautifully decorated, immaculately clean, and generously and thoughtfully stocked. It is spacious and open, with gorgeous mountain and ocean views, yet very private thanks to the lush landscaping. We were delighted with everything about this home and hope to come back.

Beautiful and serene, this artsy cottage is removed from the road so that all you hear are the local birds and rustling of the palms as you look out onto the colorful tropical grounds and sparkling bay. You can take the kayake all the way to Chinaman's hat and snorkel around the island or bask on the white sand sunny beach just 5 minutes up the road. This is an excellent location for anyone as you are just 20 minutes to Honolulu and culture while living in Paradise. Includes a fully-equipped kitchen and comfy sleeping accomodations.

While we did not get to fully enjoy this property and all the amenities since we were involved in a wedding that was held at the property next door, this location was absolutely fabulous. The views were awesome and travel time to Honolulu or the North Shore was an easy drive.

The kitchen was equipped with loads of utensils, etc. The layout was very spacious and open with lots of windows.

We would return in a heartbeat!
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Young Children

I cannot say enough good things about this property! It is perfectly located amongst the palms - far enough away to be private and close enough to be convenient. I was traveling with my son and my friend and the house was just right for us. We had a great time relaxing in and around the house and exploring Oahu. Having the kitchen and washer/dryer there was a real bonus. I highly recommend this property if you're looking for a place to stay away from the hustle of the city but still within driving distance of Honolulu.

My husband and I come to Oahu frequently for business and this rental is BY FAR our favorite place. We stayed here for a month July 2007. The lodging is beautiful, the landscape and view shows Hawaii at its best, and the lodging is very private and quiet. We highly recommend this rental.
