Great home, great location, wonderful, week.
This home is as good as it appears on the website, even better. Spacious, immaculate, very well maintained and tastefully decorated. It really feels like home. There is plenty of space to spread out and enjoy even a couple of rainy days. Everything we needed was supplied by the owner, even things that we did not expect but greatly appreciated, like a cart to carry things to the beach, DVD's, local travel information, every utensil and kitchen item you could imagine, nice dishes, excellent quality linens, etc. The large deck is great, plenty of furniture, a quality gas grill, retractable awning, plenty of seats and privacy. Beautiful Old Silver Beach is an 8 minute, pleasant walk from the house, on sidewalks. A picnic supper at the beach at sunset was the best! A day trip up pretty route 6A to Orleans for the waves at Nauset Beach was great and we took busy Route 28 back to Falmouth for Mini-golf at Pirate's Cove in Yarmouth and dinner. Wood's Hole was interesting. A ferry to the Vineyard did not work out for this trip, but is definitely worth taking.
The owner, Barry, was pleasant, thoughtful and accommodating. It is obvious that he wants his renters to have the best experience possible. We enjoyed our interactions with him. We felt that this property is a very good value. Our experience could not have been better and we plan to rent the house again.
