The property is within the Sonoran Enclave of the exclusive Desert Mountain community. Tremendous views of the valley and also a mountain panorama from the outdoor spa. 3 fireplaces (one on patio). Interior space of 2400 sq. ft and two large patios. Southwestern decor with great furnishings and art. Stereo sound system large screen TV with TVs in all Br's (cable). Dozens of golf courses are an easy drive. Shopping and poking around galleries, hiking, and sightseeing opportunities abound---and there couldn't be a better setting to kick back with a book or beverage. A gas Weber grill is on the patio.

The location is a perfect place to sample the easy southwestern life in the double gated community of Desert Mountain. The location is at the north end of the greater Phoenix area at 3000 ft with dramatic city light views of the valley. Just down the road is the artsy town of Carefree and the cowboy town of Cave Creek. Nearby are a tremendous array of wonderful golf courses, hiking trails, biking, great restaurants, galleries, and art shows. All this in a wonderful setting of mountains with a dazzling display of desert plants and animals. Bartlett Lake reservoir is less than a half hour drive.

Other Activities: Desert Mountain tennis, pool, and excercise facilities on a fee basis(~3 blocks away)

My family and I stayed in the Desert Mountain home in late March, 2011. The area of Desert Mountain is by far one of the premier neighborhoods in the entire Phoenix area. We have stayed at many rental homes, and this was by far the nicest. The scenery was spectacular and the home was perfect. There wasn't anything we needed and our entire family was very comfortable in both the inside and outside living areas. Although Desert Mountain is a bit north of the city, there is plenty of shopping nearby and the Cave Creek area is a must-see. Golf courses were fantastic and the walk up the hill near the home was as challenging a workout as any. Walk up the hill and don't miss the views overlooking the estate homes on Desert Mountain. It's quite a site! Everything was perfect when we arrived and we are looking forward to visiting again next year!

December 2010 I rented the Desert Mountain home of Kent and Julie Molde. The home was wonderful with beautiful views from every angle. The Molde’s were wonderful to deal with and I couldn’t have been happier with both the house and the Molde’s.

"Kent, the five of us enjoyed renting your beautiful Desert Mountain property for our annual four-day golf vacation in March. The city lights from the pool and deck were spectacular, we fired up the BBQ grill and had a great time after our golf rounds. It was great to be inside the Desert Mountain gate, to be able to revisit the Cochise/Geronimo clubhouse, and to get our first look at the new Chirachaua clubhouse. We will be recommending your property to our other friends from Minnesota who are planning Scottsdale vacations."
