La Paz on the Beach is a one bedroom apartment located in a three unit building right on the beach. Available for one or two adults only.

4 night minimum 6/14 - 9/30

Fully furnished with full kitchen, private deck with gas BBQ. Free Wifi, Flat panel Cable TV/DVD. Cozy Queen bed with electric blanket. Offstreet parking. Backyard firepit on new patio shared with guests staying at La Sirena.

Enjoy walks on the beach, relaxing on the sofa, and feel like you've really gotten away from it all.

About The Owner

The larger unit, Stinson on the Beach, was our weekend and summer home as we were growing up in Marin County.

The Owner purchased this apartment in 1966
Why The Owner chose Stinson Beach

My parents bought the property in the mid 60's. I have been the owner for the last 20+ years.

We had been regular day visitors to Stinson Beach all along and when this opportunity came up to buy the house, my parents couldn't resist.

Several years ago it became a vacation rental and now other families and their friends can enjoy this special place and have their own pleasant memories of their stay at Stinson Beach.

What makes this apartment unique

The best part for me is just looking out the windows, watching the waves, hearing the various sounds they make as they hit the shore. I like that the beach is right there, yet you feel tucked away and private. It is so convenient to get to the town, you don't need the car at all.

West Marin is a nature lover's paradise. It's also the area known worldwide for its deliciously prepared local and sustainable foods.

Many guests have really appreciated that they could also rent one or more of the other units for extended family and friends. There are two other units (a 1 and 3 bedroom) in this building. The place for memorable gatherings.

Notes: La Paz has stunning views and easy quick access to the beach. Located close to town, it's just a stroll away. No need to use the car once you are parked. A tremendous location and a very clean, comfortable apartment

This was such a perfect rental for a weekend or longer for 2 people. The unit was spotlessly clean, cute and very liveable for at least a week. The beach couldn't be any closer! The Dipsea trailhead is a short walk away as are Stinson's restaurants & shops. Point Reyes and Bolinas are a short drive or bike away. Kayak rental is walking/portaging distance, too. Wifi worked great! We never heard our neighbors.

The only advice I'd have for another tenant is this: if you can - bring towels. Those in the unit, which I'm guessing are provided by a service, are small and thin (but there are plenty!). I get that-- anything big and fluffy might disappear or get used as a beach towel. It wasn't at all an issue for us but others might notice.

If you stay here, keep an eye out for the otter who visits the beach in the AM. We saw him both mornings about an hour after sunrise.

A wonderful, romanitc get-away at Stinson Beach!

We had a wonderful 5 days at SB in this charming, spacious one-bedroom apartment. The owner has really seen to every possible detail; the main room/kitchen was quite large and homey, the bedroom had a nice big bed; the bathroom was just fine -- and everything was gleaming clean when we arrived. The provided portable beach chairs were great on the beach, and the shore view is great from the main room. Cozy, romantic, quiet, easy to find, great parking, nice outside patio/eating area, even a deck . . . We truely felt like we were in another world, with the days both endless and flying by. And Stinson and environs is perfect for a quieter vacation. Can't wait to return!

Our stay in La Paz

My first take upon walking into the apartment was how comfortable it appeared. The view of the ocean and the sounds of the shore through those windows helped me relax immediately after the two hour drive from Sacramento. Take the 15 minute drive into Bolinas to a well stocked general store for the things you forgot at home. Less expensive, too.

A wonderful stay

Oceanfront was a home from home. So much fog and nature on the door step. Everything was perfect. Parkside cafe was delicious and cooking in the apartment whilst watching the ocean was a delight.
