Guestbook comments from the owner
We really enjoyed our stay. Ray was a great host, taking time on our first night to give us a great overview of New York and the neighbourhood. Staying in the neighbourhood gave us a better NYC experience than staying in a hotel closer in. We rode the trains all over the city and enjoyed good food in the local restaurants.
The apartment was just like the photos. After walking all day around NYC it was great to come back to home base and get a great night's sleep.
I've already recommended this apartment to our friends thinking of visiting NYC.
We hope to be back! Thanks Ray for helping to make our stay in NYC very memorable.
We did all the big tourist things but the city kept surprising us - seeing Adam Levine in SOHO, ran into Eugenie Bouchard (Canadian Tennis champion) in Times Square, amazing dinner at a speakeasy - La Esquina - experience was as great as the food, had to ride bikes in Central Park, Mowtown the Musical was a great story to see, Katz's deli - had to see it. NYC Pass and Hop On Hop Off worked really well - as did having a 7 day Metro Pass for public transit. Ray's tip to take the Staten Island ferry to see the Statue of Liberty and the city from the water was great. We also did that on the Clipper as part of our CityPass - very nice.
We hope to be back!
