We stayed at the smaller of the two places and had a great time. There is no cable, but we really did not go to watch TV. Had a great campfire out on the beach. It was my son's first campfire and we have some great photo's. The owner made sure to have wood for us. It is a simple place, but was great. It had gotten cold while we where there and they brought a heater in for us.
Just a really nice laided back place and the owner is great.
My wife, Daughter, a school friend of hers and I spent a wonderful 4 day weekend here. The beach was great for laying out. The water was beautiful. We spent at least two hours a day swimming and wading. For you non swimmers or those blessed with small children would be relieved to know that the water only goes about 2 feet deep out at least a 150 yards and the sand is very fine and excellent for walking on. In the evening the moon rises right out of the bay and makes the lake sparkle. The cottage is simple and roomy and very clean. The cabin water does have a very strong smell of sulfer but all in all everything else makes up for that small detail. The owner is also very pleasant and made us feel welcome and very comfortable.
Overall this cabin was a great value and we really enjoyed our stay! Our favorite part was the 3 season porch that was perfect for eating meals while looking at the view of the beach and water. The owner was very helpful and made sure we had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay.
