Why settle for just one lake when you can be on the CHAIN OF LAKES and visit multiple great lakes without leaving the boat/pontoon! This lake home has a spectacular location on the west side of Lake Carlos in Alexandria, MN. The property is located at the end of a dead end road and is extremely private. This beautiful lake home is approximately 25 feet from the water’s edge which makes you feel like you are in a house boat! The lakeshore is sandy, and you will be amazed by its spectacular views! You can see about 2520 acres of water from this spot. The property is approximately 1/3 mile from a perfect boat landing for your convenience. You will also have access to 1.5 acres of land that will allow parking trailers, vehicles, play ball or any other outdoor activities. The property is defined by a cedar split rail fence, and you will quickly see how much space there is inside and out.
The landscape is unbelievable, complete with LED low voltage lighting along the boulder walls, beach and dock. The grass is perfectly irrigated to keep the lawn in perfect condition. A full beach of sand from shore to way out into the water for swimming! A large dock with the covered pontoon for your convenience and a bench to sit, enjoy the view and listen to the loons! There is a separate dock that is also available for those wanting to land their own boats. There is a wonderful area for those lake side bon-fires to relax and enjoy the sounds of the waves & loons.
In June 2012, we brought this house to the next level! New carpet, wood floors, tile, fresh paint and brand new furniture in living room, dining room, sitting room, new interior decorations AND all brand new stainless steel kitchen appliances were added! In June 2013, we added brand new deck furniture, free internet and Wi-Fi including a computer to use, and brand new dishware!
The interior is large with approximately 2000 square feet on the main level alone. The master bedroom is gigantic with 2 queen beds and 1 twin bed. The room off from the master is 10’x10’ with another queen size bed. The last bedroom has 1 queen bed and 1 twin bed. Our living room has a large couch, loveseat, ottomans, 2 lay-z-boys, large screen TV and tons of floor space. The kitchen has a large island, tons of cabinets, refrigerator with ice maker, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker and all the items you need. The sitting area off from the kitchen has 2 brand new glider rockers to enjoy the beautiful views of the lake! Our dining area has a brand new full dining room set that sits any large family! The laundry room is also located on the main floor with a large washer and dryer for all your needs, not to mention a view! There is an attached two car garage for your use that holds a newer refrigerator with ice maker for your overflow needs and a great fish cleaning table! The basement has a pool table for your enjoyment along with a bathroom and shower. For the health of our visitors with allergies, we do NOT allow smoking or pets in our home.
We want you to enjoy our lake home property and have fun exploring the chain of lakes! The activities are endless… Carlos Creek Winery, Casey's Amusement Park, Arrowwood Water Park, Viking Speedway, Kensington Museum, MN Lakes Maritime Museum, many golf courses, shopping center, bowling, many restaurants and much more! There is something for everyone's enjoyment!
We request a damage deposit that will be fully refunded to you if you leave the property in the same condition as when you arrived. For a minimum fee, prior to your arrival, we can arrange firewood for your lakeside bonfires and/or a kayak available to you. Call us for pricing and details.
