My family and I loved this rental home. Everything we needed was there in the home and the location was unbelievable. A two minute walk to a beautiful beach and about a 7 minute drive to the Boardwalk. Dealing with Edith was a pleasure and she responded to all communication very promptly. We will definatly be renting this home again. Also if you have small children make sure you bring some gates because of the stairs
Owner's Response: Since our remodel and upgrades, we have been getting wonderful reviews from renters. The location is terrific and the unit is well equiped with everything, including wireless internet.

Great beach home

We really enjoyed the Harbor Beach House. My husband, baby, and I met both of our parents at this wonderful house for a vacation. It was very close to the beach and in a very nice, quiet residential neighborhood. The set up of the house was great for 3 couples. Also, the master bedroom has a closet that is big enough to put a crib in which was perfect for my 1 year old daughter. The house was very clean and very well maintained. We really enjoyed the beach and we ate several times at the Harbor Cafe which is in walking distance of the home. We loved taking our morning runs down to the harbor and then playing in the ocean in the afternoon. The owners were great and very accomodating. I would most definitely recommend this to a friend and as a matter of fact we are going to try and make it an annual event for our family.

Great Place in Capitola/Santa Cruz

My friends and I have stayed in Edie’s house for several days each October for the past 4 years; we plan on continuing this tradition. The home is spacious and absolutely beautiful! It is always clean and in great shape. . Everything a person can want or need is provided. It is a very short walk to the beach and one is surrounded with natural beauty that is hard to match. Great place to take bikes (or rent locally) and wander around the Village of Capitola, along the beach and into Santa Cruz. If you like to shop this is a great place, the Village offers many unique and interesting stores, the mall in Capitola has great stores and Santa Cruz is close for additional shopping. There are several golf courses close by if that is what you enjoy. Edie provides great directions and instructions and is a real pleasure to rent from. I definitely recommend her home to anyone wanting to enjoy costal beauty and get away.

Comfortable, luxury and very inviting atmosphere

We spent a wonderful extended weekend in this very comfortable home next to the beautiful Seabrightbeach of Santa Cruz. We didn't miss a thing. It was bright, sunny, spacious, quiet and clean. In the evenings we could watch the sunset from the upper level of the home and later on we prepared our own dinner in this optimally equipped kitchen.

Now back home in Switzerland we are already planning our next trip to the US. Then we will hopefully again spend some days there together with our son and his family who are living in the Silicon Valley.

We rented from Edith and couldn't have had a more pleasant experience. The house was lovely. It was very spacious. I would highly recommend this location and would rent from Edith again. Thank you for sharing your home for our Wedding Weekend!!!!!
