Fabulous Saint-Germain des Pres! This apartment is incredibly located in the heart of the stunning Saint-Germain, corner of rue Guenegaud and rue Mazarine. One street away from the bank, five minute walking from pont des arts, le louvre, etc.
Located to the first floor with elevator on the yard, this apartment is completely silent and quiet. You don't even hear any cars from the Rue Guenegaud with windows completely opened. Rare in Paris. Unic privilege in that area, there is a private terrace balcony to appreciate the sky during the sweet days on a easy chair.
The apartment is a studio completely renovated with taste and luxe. A nest of elegance. All the amenities imaginable are provided: Fully kitchen, dishwasher, washer and dryer, massage shower, TV cable, Internet high speed unlimited and permanent FREE! Linens, towels and all the soap products for the bathroom and the machines are provided.
13 years of service and experience now.

My husband and I were extraordinarily comfortable in Thierry's Mazarine apartment. Thierry's instructions were spot-on and very easy to follow. Once we arrived, the key was in a lock box and, with the code, we were able to enter the apartment right away. Thierry met us there shortly after we arrived and showed us how everything worked. He made sure we knew how to reach him in case we needed him. I agree with the previous reviewers that the location was great and most sights were easily accessed by walking. The Saint Germaine area is so vibrant, with lots of restaurants, bistros, patisseries, and art galleries. So many things to see and do! This is basically an apartment for a couple or one person. But, we could have easily have stayed a month if we'd had the time. We genuinely hope we can return to Paris in a year and we will definitely try to secure this apartment! Thanks for everything, Thierry!
This was our first time renting and first time in Paris and I couldn't believe my good fortune.
The apartment was wonderful! Enough space for my husband and I, very secure and very clean. The bed was comfortable and big enough for a couple that is used to a king. Full kitchen and bath. It was so much better than being in a no-amenities hotel room. Thierry was prompt on his correspondence and although we didn't need him for anything during our stay, I knew I could get in touch with him no matter the reason. He was very thorough and helpful for a novice.
The terrace was perfect for us as it was warm during our stay and I always need an outdoor space. (Outside the terrace did need a good sweep.) We felt so secure, we slept with the terrace door open during the night. And it was so quiet! The college neighbor did have a party one night, but everyone cleared out by midnight and they really didn't cause us any trouble. (I think the real neighbors were more put out than us.) We also had the upstairs neighbor down for a glass of wine, who gave us a fabulous recommendation for dinner.
The location was the best part. We were half a block from the Seine, with access to the metro at various points. Exciting galleries, markets, cafes are all just a short walk. Again very safe and secure. We became metro pros by the end of our adventure.
This is an apartment I could see myself renting again. The location, comfort, security and helpfulness of the owner made our first trip to Paris as fabulous as I could ever hope.
We arrived very early and the studio was being cleaned. We stored our luggage and went exploring. A few hours later we returned to find our very efficient studio, full of character & outdoor patio. We met Thierry promptly and he showed us everything we needed to know and glad the essentials were provided such as soap, toilet paper, etc. The location was amazing and we easily walked to the Pantheon, Notre Dame and strolled the Seine. Quiet street with cafes and grocery store around the corner. We especially liked the St Michel area. Wifi worked great and we strongly suggest an app for your phone if you plan on taking the metro...made getting around easy! The only reason we did not give this a 5 star rating was the lack of light. We had a difficult time reading maps, etc. Thank you again Thierry for being so prompt on emails and making it easy to reserve this lovely studio. We highly recommend this secure & quaint studio. As for other reviewers, we found Thierry "there" when needed and pleasant to work with.
The space is fine for two. We did some cooking, markets being close. And wine
selections. This apartment is just big enough in just the right location for "walking
out," to Notre Dame, the Louvre, Metro or bus to the D'Orsay. A bit longer walk
to the Pompidou. Theaters in the Marais. We'll use this apartment again. Aloha,P&J
The apartment was perfect for our visit. As promised it is walkable to so many of the sites of Paris. I think we took just one Metro ride our whole week there. Thierry was very friendly, and offered us full availability of himself, which we never needed but loved having.
We would rent from Thierry again in the future!

Studio Mazarine helped make my Paris vacation memorable. Thierry is a consummate professional. He answers emails and phone calls immediately; I knew I could count on him. The studio was sparkling clean; the bed beyond comfortable; delicious espresso coffee and an espresso machine were provided; WiFi access was seamless. Since I had the washer/dryer, I packed only one carry-on for 2 weeks! The location is awesome. Rue Guénégaud is quiet, but within a few steps are a market, a fruit/vegetable market, shops, dozens of eateries, Metro stops, bus stops, and the beauty of the Seine and Pont Neuf.
On a personal note, I have arthritis in my knees and needed an elevator that worked 100% of the time, which the one in the building did. Two bus lines go right through the neighborhood. More bus stops are a moderate walk away. (Half of each bus in Paris is dedicated for people with disabilities and the elderly.) In places, the cobblestone sidewalks on Rue Guénéugaud and Mazarine are narrow and a bit slanted, but I walked slowly and had no problem. You can call a taxi or get one on Rue St.Germain. The walk to/from the Metro was doable. In short, if you have a disability like mine you can tailor transportation as you need, using Studio Mazarine as a solid base.
As a single woman, I felt safe in the apartment and on the streets around it at night. And knowing that Thierry was available if I needed help was priceless. The quality, price, and management of Studio Mazarine can't be beat.
