Recently redecorated with wicker, rattan and colorful accents. Decor described by tenants as charming and relaxing. New TV with cable, DVD and VCR. Pleasant dining area, breakfast bar. Fully equipped kitchen. Screened lanai. WiFi access. Wooded views front and back. Master bedroom with queen, guest bedroom with twin beds and comfortable hide-a-bed sofa in living room. Full kitchen. Deeded beach access leads to never-crowded stretch of Sanibel's famous shell beach. Bird watcher's paradise! Sanibel named #3 by Birder's World mainly because of 'Ding' Darling nature preserve with its fabulous five mile drive. Osprey nest just across from our lanai. Ground floor end unit with extra windows. Very quiet and private, surrounded by tropical vegetation. Island paradise, almost half in conservation areas, no high rises, neon signs or traffic lights.

About 45 minutes from SW Florida's International Airport. Just one causeway from Fort Myers, which has excellent medical and hospital facilities. Sanibel has one of the three best shelling beaches in the world! You're sure to come home with souvenir fighting conchs, scallops etc. Over half the island is in nature preserve, with great bird watching, hiking, canoeing, kayaking etc. Fascinating individually owned shops, 55 restaurants, two legitimate and one movie theater and two public golf courses help keep you entertained. Fishing of all sorts --- from free pier or beach through excursion vessels to hired individual guides --- is both available and productive.

This is a very nice condo, reasonably priced, and just a short walk from the Gulf of Mexico. The condo complex includes tennis courts and a nice swimming pool. It is located in the middle of the island, a short bike ride away from the famous Ding Darling nature preserve. If your family wants to stay in one of the most beautiful spots in the U.S. without breaking the bank, this is the way to go!

Private, relaxing getaway

We've stayed at this condo numerous times, and have always been pleased. It's got a wonderfully private feel, yet is just a short walk to the beach (which has fantastic shelling). The beach itself is gorgeous; very well-maintained, safe - ideal for families with kids. You can rent bikes and tour the island, stop for coffee or ice cream, shop at one of the little quaint antique stores. (Last time we discovered a wonderful pizza place on the island, too.)
The condo itself has all the amenities you'd need, and is well-stocked with games, movies, and books. We always come away from staying here relaxed and refreshed. Would definitely recommend it to others as a wonderful getaway!
