Photos and Description of the New Harbor vacation cottage rental
Cottage, 3 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, (Sleeps 6)

We named our cottage The Sandpiper, a local beach bird here on the Mid Maine Coast. This is an amazing part of the coast which boasts incredible scenery with rocky cliffs, white sand beaches, coves and tidal rivers. Our cottage is beautifully furnished with all the comforts of home.

There's plenty of room for 6 people in our 3 bedroom, 2 bath, 2 story home. We are at the end of a dead end road so there's no drive through traffic making it very peaceful. The deck is 20 yards from the ocean and if you have a boat we have a mooring available for you to use. New Harbor is a sweet little town with the Pemaquid lighthouse, Pemaquid Beach and Fort William Henry only minutes away. Our kitchen is fully stocked in case you want to cook at home and there's great fresh seafood eateries nearby. The master bedroom has a great view of the tidal water which of course changes throughout the day.

Relaxing, convenient

Walk to rent a kayak, sit outside sipping coffee, short bike/drive to really nice small beach, ice cream a short drive away.

On rainy days, sitting inside is comfortable and with a full kitchen you can make hot chocolate or whatever suits you. As someone mentioned previously, it can be a bit difficult to find the first time, but all in all, a very pleasant stay.

Beautiful, comfortable, quiet rental home with spectacular views

This is a lovely, welcoming house, very well equipped and in an idyllic setting, with great views across the water of boats, birds and sunsets. The outdoor space is very attractive and the house takes good advantage of its location, with lovely picture windows on both floors. The owner was very friendly and helpful. It's a great place to relax in with the fabulous Cupboard Cafe and a kyak rental in walking distance and good driving access to lots of sights, ameneties and delicious eating places: the lobster co-op, Cupboard Cafe and restaurant at Permaquid Point were our particular favourites but we were spoiled for choice. Our first visit to Maine but this was really lovely and we'll definitely be back.
