Renter Beware!

I want to say that the location of this condo is perfect, however if this is for a family I would not recommend it. As for the bed it is new and we had no complaints, but the couch is new & was comfortable,but as for the pull out, the matress looked more like a changing pad for a infant.

The condo description stated kitchen when we had arrived & the super let us in, we noticed that it was not a kitchen but a kitchenette. Also there were no pots. The 2 pans provided theTeflon was peeling off. With this we had gone shopping to purchase goods to cook on the stove top, the next day we realized that the burners were not working properly. It had taken over 1 hour to boil water. Not sure if this was up to code, might want to ask if problem is fixed before renting if you like to cook to save money.I would also like to add being a family the rugs were filthy.

I just want to say that I have discussed this with Robert and we are awaiting for some kind of reimbursement from him in regards to the condition of the condo. I can say after speaking to some of the owners and renters in this condo facility he is the only one with a kitchenette and is a bit higher in price, although he did say he gave us a discount.

Just do some research before entering any place unknown. It is unfortunate that we were not pleased with this place and are a family that is not hard to impress.
Owner's Response: I'm sorry to see that this renter did not have a great experience. After 9 years of renting this unit, I've had no negative feedback. I certainly take pride in the customer service and the overall product that is put out to the renter.

All concerns have been noted, and we certainly thank you for your feedback and will make any adjustments / upgrades necessary. Unfortunately, after speaking with an electrician to see if this (stovetop concern) could be remedied, in an interest to address this families concern, I was informed that it is a rather involved process and could not be done by the time they moved out at the end of the week. We hope that by next summer the electric concern regarding stove-top will be upgraded to a higher wattage and this will no longer be a concern.

Fabulous Vacation

This place is conveniently located. It was close to the where the major attractions were on the boardwalk. It was only two blocks away from the shopping on Asbury Ave. We were there for the Venice Seafood Festival. This place is located close to a lot of restraunts. Our favorite was Periwinkles on 9th St walking towards the boardwalk. We rented a bicycle built for two on 8th Street & Ocean Ave along the boardwalk. Go to the information center on the boardwalk and you can get coupons.

The only thing we didn't like was the bed. We were rolling into the middle of the bed since the mattres dipped to the middle. One end of the bed is higher than the other so we had to sleep on the foot end of the bed. Also the bedroom is very bright since there aren't any blinds on the bedroom window except for a curtain.

Make sure you pack linens for the bed and toilet paper. There is a Super Fresh close by and we purchased most everything we forgot at the 99 cents store on the boardwalk. There was also one on Asbury Ave. Turn to channal 3, It gave us a lot of information of activities that was happening on the boardwalk and what the weather was going to be.

Robert is very nice to deal with and was flexible with my payment plan. The parking spot is very easy to park into. There was also an outside shower next to the laundry room for us to wash the sand off our stuff.

This is a great place to rent if it is just two people and you aren't having family staying over with you or it will feel really cramped. This was not a luxurious hotel room, but it did its purpose. My boyfriend and I would definitely rent this place again and would recommend it to other couples who don't plan to stay in the room.
