This luxury condo was completely remodeled in April 2010. The property manager tells me it is THE nicest unit in the entire Beaver Village complex of 200+ units, which is reflected in the 24 5-Star reviews that I've received from previous renters! My unit is a 10 minute walk to some of the best restaurants in the Village of Winter Park and 7-10 minutes from the base of the Winter Park Ski Area by a free bus that comes every 15 minutes to my building's entrance during peak hours. It's also a 3 minute walk to a free clubhouse with indoor pool, multiple whirlpools and a sauna. The clubhouse has had extensive updates to the pool area in the past year! This is a 3rd floor end unit with vaulted ceilings and a beautiful view of the Continental Divide off the front porch. Here are the highlights of the remodeled condo:

• Free Wifi with 100% coverage inside condo.

• Top end Bosch High Efficiency washer and dryer.

• New furniture, including 2 new queen mattresses added this summer.

• Master bathroom has a Mr. Steam steam shower.

• Guest bedroom has a Jacuzzi bathtub.

• Granite counter tops in kitchen/bathrooms with new cherry cabinets and roll out drawers (kitchen).

• Weber grill on the back deck connected to unlimited natural gas.

• Sony HDTV entertainment center

- 40in Sony 1080p HDTV

- Comcast upgrade to Xfinity Dual Recording HD-DVR and 150 HDTV channels including all ESPN, national news and Denver channels.

- Sony sound-bar with wireless subwoofer

- Sony Blu-ray/DVD player

- Logitech Harmony 1 remote for seamless coordination of all devices.

- Extensive Blu-ray/DVD library (additional DVD's available at clubhouse).

• A tankless energy-efficient hot water heater for limitless hot water.

• All new doors, rough cedar baseboard/casing, tile in kitchen/entrance/bathrooms and carpet.

• Walls are decorated beautifully with artwork from local artists and European art.

• Front door electronic combination lock (no need to share a key).

We have seen deer, moose and other wildlife from the back deck. For the adventure minded, you can ski back from the mountain in 45 minutes - we've done it many times as a family!

PLEASE NOTE: In an effort to provide an allergy free unit, our condo is non smoking and 'petless'.

About Ryan Gamble

My family and I have, literally, skied (much of) the world together. We lived 12 years in Western Europe and skied over 50 different resorts in the Alps, in addition to skiing most of the resorts in Colorado. We have a hat collection on one of the walls in the living room area for most of the areas we have skied. We love Winter Park and consider it to be our favorite mountain. It's one of the most family friendly areas we've experienced and offers terrain for all levels of skiers. And, it has the highest average snowfall of any of the Front Range ski areas so you're almost assured a day or two of powder in a week's stay.

Beaver Villlage Condos (Bobs place)

What an awesome place to stay! I have been to Winter Park many times over the years for various alpine ski competitions and stayed at numerous places. I have to say that I dont think there is a nicer condo in Winter Park! The owner is amazing and we already booked for next season! Thank you so much for sharing your place with us as it will be where we stay every time we come out! 5 stars for sure!!

Great Condo and Even Better Owner

We stayed at Bob's condo during a 3-day skiing trip to Winter Park. The condo was updated a nice steam shower along with a whirlpool tub in the second bath. Bob had everything ready for us upon our arrival with ample supply of dishes and cooking utensils to eat a nice breakfast each morning and dinner if we chose. The instructions supplied explained how to work all the television equipment (HD equipped...not your normal SD quality equipment), fireplace, gas grill, etc. The only instruction missing was how to ski better. The condo was in great shape and you will not be disappointed. Additionally, the condo is barely .5 miles from the Winter Park/Mary Jane park where you have a choice of taking the bus that picks up at the bottom of the condo staircase or drive and park and take the gondola to the Winter Park lifts.

As good as the condo and amenities were, the owner, Bob, makes this place a must-stay. Bob personally helped find the best lift ticket prices, directions to the resort parking lots, and suggestions for the best ski runs to take so we get dropped next to the bus stop or gondola. Absolutely a great experience. And yes, we will be returning next year and will be looking to fill up 3-days at this condo.

Great condo for weekend getaway

Rented this unit for 2 night getaway with our 2 kids and we had a great time. The unit was quiet, appeared well maintained and comfortable for the four of us. Pool and hot tubs were fun for our 4 and 6 year old girls. Would definitely stay here again.

Great Stay!

I am a seasoned VRBO user, yet this is the first review I have authored. I have had many stays worthy of 5 stars, but this experience was so positive I felt compelled to share it with others! I agree with other reviewers—this place deserves 6 stars!!! As others have stated, this is not a ski in/ski out condo. I too thought I might miss the convenience of ski in/ski out. I was wrong. The condo could not be in a better location! It is situated in close proximity to both the resort and the town, allowing guests to enjoy both fully.

This owner spares no detail. The condo is equipped with all of the best appliances to ensure your stay is perfect. The ‘limitless hot water’ is as advertised and the steam shower—enough said! No need to worry about missing the game or your favorite show either—plenty of HD channels + DVR capabilities. I am also particularly sensitive to ‘semi-clean’ hotel rooms and condos. The condo was VERY clean and as a result, I felt as comfortable as I would in my own home.

I cannot say enough about the owner, Bob. He is super responsive and works extremely hard to ensure your stay is perfect. Nearly all of his reviews are 5-star for a reason. One of the two 4-star reviewers mentioned that the mattress was soft and he promptly replaced it! This type of commitment to perfection is what sets this condo apart from others. I will be back next year and will book early as the secret is out on this place!

Owner's Response: Wow, I could get used to this - thanks Katie for another great review! I have tried to be very responsive to issues raised by guests. Just about all of the improvements over the last 2 years (new mattresses, new fireplace, entertainment center upgrades, patio furniture, new pantry storage area, etc.) have been driven by their suggestions. As I mentioned in my last review, at this point in time I think I have things dialed in correctly and I really do make an effort to keep my unit spotless. Since I live in Denver I use it every chance I get and make a point of repairing, replacing, painting or cleaning anything that needs it every time I go up. E.g, this summer I bought a Rug Doctor spot cleaner to keep the carpet in great shape!

we Stayed month of February and loved everything about it

I agree with all 5 star reviews posted here....this is our first non ski in/ski out stay in colorado and found it worth the tradeoff. We loved being able to walk into town (5 minutes) and LOVED the privacy and quiet. The busses are so convenient - we didn't lose any time in getting to slopes, the bus pick up is literally right outside your door and is last stop on way to lifts.....

we stopped at Costco for food/drink in Denver upon arrival and brought own ski equipment. everything else we needed was in condo There were plenty of pillows and blankets, towels, cleaning supplies, soaps. Everything you need for a great stay!

the steamer shower is amazing and enjoyed by all as there is unlimited hot water (we all looked forward to it after a day of skiing)..great washer and dryer conveniently located right next to master bath...every part of condo was so clean, the beds are very comfortable, the layout works well for 6 adults..the kitchen is very nice and has everything you need -ate 90% of our meals in room....the tv set up is great and we were able to watch movies and basketball games in the evening to our hearts content in front of the warming fireplace.

the owner is wonderful....his word is gold.

If we could, we would give it 6+ stars....it is a winner!

Owner's Response: Susan and Family were the first guests I've had for a month's stay, and it was delightful having them here that long! I really wanted their visit to turn out well - I'm very happy it did. We talked and texted over several weeks on the front end, after which we were both convinced they would enjoy my unit more than one of the Winter Park ski in/outs from Intrawest for all the reasons she's put together in this review. Her family was also the first to experience all of the additional upgrades I've made over the past 2 years as a response to several suggestions from previous guests. At this point I believe I have the amenities on the inside dialed in correctly and, when combined with my location, peace and quiet, surrounding beauty and convenience, my condo has to be one of the best in Winter Park for a group of 2-6! I also noticed on my trip up to the condo today that the Beaver Village clubhouse with swimming pool, whirlpools and sauna has received some much needed major upgrades over this past year.

Great Condo and Great Owner!

Great condo! The improvements done to this place really matter. The natural gas grill is awesome (no need to worry about running out of propane!), the tankless water heater is even better (everybody gets a hot shower after skiing!) and the steam shower was truly something else. It has a nice entertainment system with a Bluetooth enabled sound bar that was super easy to hook our phones up to and with the wireless internet available we were listening to great sounding music all weekend. Bob was extremely communicative and easy to work with. The "yellow" line of the resort bus is the one that will pick you up and drop you off, I would recommend that you look up the schedule of that line before your trip so you're aware of when it comes and goes. I didn't really know the schedule and I barely missed one bus at the resort and ended up waiting 30 minutes for the next one. Overall, this is just a great condo in a great location. I would highly recommend it.

Owner's Response: Thanks Mike for the great review - your appreciation of some of my major improvements makes my day! There's nothing I like better than to have a guest enjoy some of the high tech items I installed when I did the remodel. As you said, the improvements I made really matter. But, we owned this unit for over 30 years and had lots of time to think about what we wanted to really make this place perfect for both our family and guests and did this remodel right! On the bus schedule, I was up at the condo yesterday and noticed that it had fallen off of the refrigerator where I had it magnetically attached and fell under it. I decided to laminate it and tape it on! If you miss the Yellow Line, it's a 5 minute walk downhill to the bus stop on US 40 where all the ski buses will stop to pick you up. I will include that in the writeup that I pass on to guests on my condo info sheet in the future.
