“Sea Dunes”- A family-friendly house with an unobstructed Gulf view and 100 yards away from the beach. The open floor plan is centered around a large great room with vaulted ceilings; the fully-equipped kitchen with breakfast bar is adjacent to a dining area with seating for six and a comfortable sitting/ TV viewing area with Direct TV. You can commune with nature by relaxing on the gulf side deck for plenty of sun, or sit on the covered deck overlooking the dunes. If you get the urge to explore, you can move your car from one of the houses’ 2 covered parking spots and take a short drive to the heart of Gulf Shores and local stores and restaurants. Sea Dunes guests can also enjoy a round of golf at the famous Kiva Dunes Golf Course, charter a boat at Fort Morgan Marina, play at the Gulf Shores amusement and water park, visit the nearby Civil War fort, or take a ferry boat ride across the bay to Dauphin Island. This well maintained house is located on Fort Morgan Peninsula.

Excellent Stay at Fort Morgan Beach Home

My family and I greatly enjoyed our stay at this Fort Morgan Beach Home. The home is extremely close to the ocean, which was very nice. We enjoyed our time at the beach. My son really had a great time fishing. We felt right at home and had everything that we needed. We enjoyed being able to walk back and forth from the beach without having to drive. My family and I will definately return, and I would highly recommend this property. This is the best value on the beach. Thanks, Mike for all of your help!! We really appreciate it!!

SNOWBIRD HOME AWAY FROM HOME

We stayed at the beach house about 3 & 1/2 months. We enjoyed it very much. Sitting on the deck, reading, relaxing & watching many awesome sunrises & sunsets was great. At times just to sit in the sun and look out at the water was good. I walked the beach, which was never crowded, almost everyday, weather permitting. The area was peaceful and quiet, the house clean & comfortable. It was nice to fall asleep listening to the sound of the waves. Mike was very easy to work with. We went into Gulf Shores to meet friends & to eat at many nice restraunts. There are a lot of deals for eating out during the winter. Never ate at a place I didn't like. My husband loves to fish out at Fort Morgan which is about 9 miles away. He enjoyed being close to where he fished. He caught over 80 large fish, redfish & black drum, many 36 to 41 inches long, all catch and release.

Awesome Place!

When your already planning on coming back, before you even leave, you know you picked a great place! "Sea Dunes" is the perfect place to stay if you want a nice quiet location, not to far from all the excitement the Gulf Shores area has to offer. There is soooo much to do around the area. Fishing at the Pier, dolphin cruises, amusement parks, historical attractions...the list goes on and on. After taking in the attractions, we always looked forward to going back to "our" house for some quiet beach time or just relaxing on the deck. (we even saw the Blue Angels fly over one day!) Another one of our favorite things to do was go up to "The Pines" which is a grocery, hardware, bait shop, beer/liquor store all in one. They also have a pizzaria and restaurant.

Mike was a great guy to deal with. This was the first time we rented a beach house so we weren't sure what to expect, but he made the process easy for us.

We can't wait to come back to "our" beach house!

Kids and the beach.

We have two kids, ages 8 & 4. This was the first time for the youngest to experience the beach and he just LOVED IT! Renting a house just steps from the beach made it very convenient for everyone and made perfect sense with kids. Their room was cozy and they had no problem settling down at night. A little TV in their room gave them a chance to relax, watch a movie and have some down time. The kitchen allowed us the opportunity to save some money and have of the meals that we wanted to make (and knew the kids would like). Really enjoyed starting the day with a cup of coffee out on the deck watching the waves. We used the crock pot one day to cook an easy meal while we were playing in the sand. The outdoor shower was perfect for everyone to clean up and rinse the sand off before going inside. At the end of the week, it was nice to use the washer & dryer to come home with clean clothes instead of bags of dirty laundry. Fun times and very memorable!

Completely Satisfied!!

The listing and previous reviews were spot on. This place was perfect for our family vacation. The house was clean and well maintained. Mike and Donna were very friendly over the phone and were very easy to work with. The view of the Gulf from the deck was great. We loved sitting out there in the morning watching the waves while drinking our morning coffee. Our two young sons loved having their own room with their own tv, which has a built-in dvd player. The outside shower was great for rinsing off sand, and the grill got some good use as well. The walk to the beach was very short as there is beach access directly across the street from the house. The beach location was great, not congested at all. We would leave our canopy and chairs out on the beach overnight without concern of anyone taking them, just made sure they were above the high tide line. There are plenty of things to do in and around Gulf Shores and plenty of great food. We even made a trip to the Naval Aviation Museum in Pensacola and climbed up to the top of the Lighthouse. One highlight was taking our boys to The Track, a go-kart facility with 5 tracks, putt-putt, bumper boats, kiddie area, and games. Dauphin Island is just a 30 minute ferry boat ride away and The Estuarium and Fort Gaines were fun places for the kids. If you like chicken wings, we highly recommend the West Beach Grille on W 11th and the pizza at Papa Rocco's was great.

Overall, this place was great. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend this gem on Pompano!
